A tanfolyam célja, hogy azok az orvosok, akik napi munkájuk során nem szoktak újraélesztést végezni, vagy sürgősségi eseteket ellátni, megtanulják - a gyakorlatban is, - hogy hogyan kell egy hirtelen rosszullétet ellátni amíg a mentő vagy a reszuszcitációs team megérkezik.
