Kedves Kollégák!
A XI. Kelet-Magyarországi Diabétesz hétvége (KDH) 2019. október 10-12. között első alkalommal kerül megrendezésre Békéscsabán.
A kétévente összehívott KDH kezdetben kétnapos program volt, és elsősorban a keleti régió munkacsoportjainak adott lehetőséget személyes találkozásra, eszmecserére, gyakorlati problémák megbeszélésére. Az évek során a rendezvény háromnapossá vált, egyre több továbbképző jellegű előadással, speciális (pl. szakdolgozói, dietetikai) szekcióval gazdagodott, jellege regionális helyett ma már inkább országosnak mondható.
A 2019-es rendezvény célja, hogy a diabetológiával és határterületeivel kapcsolatos legújabb tudományos eredmények bemutatása mellett a mindennapi gyakorlat szempontjából fontos témákat (pl. diabetes és műtét, diabetes és terhesség, életmódterápia stb.) járjon körbe. A diabetológusok mellett számítunk a háziorvos és belgyógyász kollégák jelenlétére is, számukra klasszikus továbbképző szekciót szervezünk, ahol összefoglaljuk a 2-es típusú cukorbetegség aktuális kezelési elveit, a ma használatos antidiabetikumok jellemzőit és a modern inzulinkezelés alapjait. Természetesen 2019-ben is lesz gyermekdiabétesz szekció, valamint szakdolgozói blokk is.
Az 1999-ben Miskolcon tartott első KDH egyik elkötelezett támogatója Dr. Gyimesi András volt, aki 15 éves békéscsabai tevékenysége során megreformálta a diabetológiai gondozást, inzulinpumpa centrumot, diabeteses láb ambulanciát indított, megalapozta a felnőtt endokrin ellátást, és bevezette a diabetes ambulancia és háziorvosok együttműködésével megvalósuló ún. „megosztott gondozási modellt”. A betegellátás mellett Főorvos Úr iskolát is alapított, kitanított egy orvosgenerációt, akik közül többen szereztek diabetológus szakképesítést, és folytatják munkájukat a Békéscsabai Dr. Réthy Pál Kórházban. A Magyar Diabetes Társaság vezetőségének jóvoltából most ez a békéscsabai fiatal és lelkes kollektíva kapott felhatalmazást a XI. KDH megszervezésére.

Dear friends and colleagues,
The 2nd international conference "Food, microbiota and immunity" will take place on June 6-9, 2022 at Prague, Czech Republic. The conference is organized by the Czech Immunological Society and supported by the program "Food for the future" of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The conference venue is situated in the city center, close to the Vltava river.
This will be a small event promoting discussions, networking and transfer of knowledge to a new generation of scientists. It is intended as a friendly meeting of colleagues working in immunology, microbiology, food research and related fields.
Apart from the lectures covering several major links between the immune system, food and microbiota, you can look forward to a poster session, panel discussions and informal social events to facilitate the transfer of scientific ideas.
