Tisztelt Kollégák, Kedves Barátaim!
A Magyar Immunológiai Társaság Gyermekimmunológiai Munkacsoportja immár 30 éve alakult meg. Az elmúlt három évtizedben aktívan dolgoztunk a veleszületett immunhiányos állapotok jobb diagnosztikus lehetőségeiért, a korszerű terápiás eljárások meghonosításáért és e ritka betegségek széles körű ismertségéért, mind szakmai körökben, mind társadalmi szinten.
Nagyon sok eredményt értünk el. Számos súlyos primer immundefektusban elérhető Magyarországon a genetikai diagnózis, a hazai csontvelő-transzplantációs központokban több mint 50 immunhiányos gyermeket transzplantáltunk és gyógyítottunk meg, immár minden antitesthiányos beteg számára elérhető és finanszírozott a megfelelő adagban és rendszeresen alkalmazott immunglobulin pótló kezelés, továbbá megalakultak és aktívan működnek a betegszervezetek.
Természetesen számos nehézség akad most is: mindenekelőtt a mindennapi diagnosztika anyagi és technikai nehézségei, egyes korszerű diagnosztikus eljárások hiánya.
A MIT kongresszusán hagyományosan részt vesznek és bemutatják eredményeiket az immunológiával foglalkozó hazai kutatók és munkacsoportok, lehetőség nyílik megbeszélésekre és kutatási együttműködések kialakítására.
A ritka primer immunhiányos állapotok diagnózisához, a betegek immunműködésének felméréséhez a klinikusok számára nagyon fontos a laboratóriumokban dolgozó szakemberek, a kutatók segítsége. Az együttműködési lehetőségek megvitatására, tanulságos vagy megoldatlan klinikai esetek megbeszélésére jó alkalom nyílik a Magyar Immunológiai Társaság éves kongresszusát követően, Velencén. Szeretettel várunk minden érdeklődő kollégát 2015. október 16-án, 13h30-kor a konferencia színhelyén.

From May 24 - 27, 2008, the "9th European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery - First ESTES Congress" will take place in Budapest, Hungary.
This will be the first congress after the merger in May 2007 of two of Europe's largest trauma societies - ETS (European Trauma Society) and EATES (European Association for Trauma and Emergency Surgery) into ESTES - the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery. With more than 5000 members and the support of several national trauma societies, ESTES is capable of significantly influencing the development and improvement of standards of trauma and emergency surgery in Europe.
Without doubt, Budapest 2008 will be a landmark event for the scientific community in Europe and beyond - which is why, on behalf of Congress President Peter Fröhlich and Congress Secretary Vilmos Vecsei, I invite you and your members to participate actively in this meeting.
