2009. április 24. és 25. között tartja a Magyar Obezitológiai és Mozgásterápiás Társaság II. Kongresszusát.
A Kongresszus célja, - összhangban a Nemzeti Népegészségügy Programmal - az elhízás elterjedésének visszaszorítása, az aktív testmozgás elterjesztése, a mozgásban gazdag életmód kialakítása és az egyre általánosabb gyermekkori elhízás megelőzése érdekében végzett munkához elengedhetetlen ismeretek bővítése.
A Kongresszus tervezett fő témái:
1. Az elhízás, mint kardiometabolikus rizikófaktor
2. Alvási apnoe, mint kardiometabolikus kockázati tényező
3. Hypertonia kezelése metabolikus syndromában
4. Diabetes és a kardiometabolikus kockázat
5. Az endothel dysfunctio megjelenési formái
6. Lipidanyagcsere zavarok és kezelésük metabolikus syndromában

Like other IPOKRaTES courses, this seminar is designed to encourage dialogue and stimulate discussion among the participants and faculty. Multiple panel discussions have been scheduled throughout the course to provide an opportunity for questions and interchange. Participants are encouraged to prepare interesting cases to present during panel discussions. Case Presentations should take no more than 2-3 minutes to present, and should be prepared as a Powerpoint presentation using no more than 4 slides.

The scientific programme consists of:
1.) Lectures on up-to-date topics in diabetology, presented by leading experts from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other countries of Central Europe
2.) Abstracts in all fields of clinical and experimental diabetology can be submitted by e-mail to the congress president – Assoc. prof. Theodora Temelkova-Kurktschiev mc_rkoch@cablebg.net or congress@gmedc.eu ). Accepted abstracts can be presented as posters in German or in English.

It is our great pleasure to extend to you our invitation to Hypertension 2008, the joint congress bringing together delegates for the 18th Scientific Meeting of the European Society of Hypertension and the 22nd Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hypertension.
After the successful 2006 meetings of ESH in Madrid and ISH in Fukuoka, we are convinced that the joint meeting of our societies also will offer you a great program with the latest results in the field of hypertension. We are expecting more than 7,000 participants at this meeting.

| EUROPAEDIATRICS is the European paediatric congress which in the past was organized alternatively by UNEPSA (Union of National European Paediatric Societies and Associations) and by CESP (Confederation of European Specialists in Pediatrics). The scientific committee will organise a programme which will cover mainly primary and secondary care paediatrics but also seminars and courses on demography of paediatric care, epidemiology of childhood diseases, standards of treatment, and last but not least on organisational strategies aspects aiming at improving paediatric care throughout Europe. Stimulating contributions of well known academic persons and highly qualified scientists will be provided. |
