Az emésztőrendszeri betegségek kérdései az utóbbi években az orvosi szakma érdeklődésének előterébe kerültek. A fokozott figyelem okai között kétségtelenül az emésztőrendszeri betegségekben szenvedők növekvő száma és az ismeretek szakadatlan bővülése a legfontosabbak. A diagnosztikus eljárások fejlődése, új patofiziológiai összefüggések felismerése, a kezelési módok újabb lehetőségeinek térhódítása, szemléletbeli változások és eltérő hangsúlyok megjelenése egyaránt indokolják a jelenlegi ismeretek összefoglalását és közreadását.
A Semmelweis Egyetem XVIII. Gasztroenterológiai Továbbképző Tanfolyama 2018-ban ismét a gasztroenterológia legújabb eredményeinek bemutatására vállalkozik, a kongresszus résztvevői számára átfogó ismereteket nyújtva az emésztőrendszeri betegségek legfontosabb gyakorlati kérdéseiről. A tudományos ülés új ismereteket kínál az alapellátásban, az emésztőrendszeri betegségekkel foglalkozó szakellátásban dolgozó kollégáknak, a szakorvos jelölteknek és az egyetemi Doktori Iskola hallgatóinak egyaránt.
Őszintén reméljük, hogy a tanfolyam előadásait valamennyi részt-vevő tanulságosnak ítéli majd, és az ismereteket a mindennapi gyakorlatban hasznosítani is tudja.

Az MRT-IB harmadik alkalommal tartja rezidenseknek és szakorvosjelölteknek szóló eszmecseréjét. Következő alkalommal a mellkasi diagnosztika témakört választottuk a mellkasi radiológia egyik legkiemelkedőbb radiológusával, Cáceres professzorral. Véleményünk szerint ezen terület a vizsgálóeljárások gyors fejlődésével, az emelkedő betegszámmal és a magas klinikusi igényekkel mindenkitől elengedhetetlen, naprakész tudást igényel. Cáceres Professzor vezet be minket a mellkasi képalkotás nehézségeibe, melyet követően legjobb 5 rezidensi esetbemutatást hallhatunk. A helyszínen konzulensi segítséget nyújtanak a mellkasi vizsgáló eljárásokban tapasztalt szakértők, akik hozzászólásukkal segítenek tovább mélyedni a témában. Kérünk mindenkit, hogy az anatómiai és radiológiai alapokkal felkészülten érkezzen, hogy tudjunk „egy nyelvet beszélni”.
