To improve the quality of response to the medical problems encountered immadiately after a sudden onset sisaster and during the first days and weeks that follow, the workshop will focus on crush injures, limb salvage, skin cover and the wuestion of whether or not to amputate. The workshop will also address rapid and appropriate decision making in stressful situations, which can be additionally aggravated by extreme enviromental conditions. Special attention will be given to the long-term perspective, accountability, data collection and reporting.

On behalf of the ESSM and ISSM, we invite you to join us for an exciting International Symposium on Prostate, Androgens and Men’s Sexual Health at the InterContinental Hotel in Berlin from 21 - 23 June 2013. This is the second of a series of themed 2-3 day meetings, jointly convened by the ISSM and affiliated regional societies. It will precede and support the individual 2014 scientific meetings of the ISSM and ESSM and is a “must-attend” meeting. The theme, focus and content of the scientific program have been carefully selected and represent many of the challenges confronted by physicians with an interest in sexual medicine.

The history of polish orthopedics, „surgery yougest sister”, according to prof. Wierzejewski started in 1913 in Poznanń. Since then many distinct names made into the history of orthopedics in Poland and worldwide. Thanks to Wiktor Dega, Adam Gruca, Franciszek Raszeja and many others today’s polish orthopedics is a dynamically developing field in both reasearch and medicine.
