2011. szeptember 8-án az Aneszteziológiai és Intenzív Terápiás Klinika közremûködésével és vezetésével, Európában elõször, együttmûködési szerzõdés került aláírásra a NATO Katona-egészségügyi Kiválósági Központ és a Semmelweis Egyetem között.
A SUN Szimpózium ezen eseményhez kapcsolódóan 2012. március 30-31. között, ismert nemzetközi elõadók, professzorok és NATO vezetõ egészségügyi tisztviselõk közremûködésével kerül majd megrendezésre Budapesten.
A SUN szimpózium fõvédnökei a Semmelweis Egyetem és a NATO Katonaegészségügyi Kiválósági Központ.
A fõ témakörök az intenzív terápia, sürgõsségi- és honvédorvostan, oktatás, szimuláció, pszichológia és alaptudományok területérõl ismertetik a legújabb aktualitásokat. Az elõadók a témákban meghatározó kutatásokat és oktatást végzõ hazai és nemzetközi elõadók.
Kiemelt témák:
- oxidatív stressz és ischemia-reperfusio
- szervmentés
- tüdõ és szív
- sepsis, többszervi elégtelenség
- sürgõsségi- és honvédorvostan
- szimuláció-pszichológia
- interoperabilitás
- kutatás metodika, szervezés
- fiatal kutatók szekciója

ABO incompatible living donor kidney transplantation, combined kidney and auxiliary liver transplantation, Living anonymous donation (also called Nondirected donation) and, is let transplantation to diabetic kidney transplant recipients.

ENII was founded in 1986, by 15 European Institutes devoted to research in molecular and cell immunology. Presently, the ENII Institutes are 38 Research Departments located in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. This number can be extended to other Laboratories or Departments. ENII aims to promote the quality of European education and research in immunology:
Fostering scientific information exchanges by organizing Scientific Meetings, Courses, Schools and Workshops;
Enhancing scientists exchanges and networking by Fellowships and Sabbatical Bursaries for post-docs and visiting scientists.

We set up two key themes of this year – CVID, transplantations in PID and complement deficiencies, but there will be enough space to discuss any topic related to PID and we hope that it will be in quite an informal way as we experienced during the previous workshops.
We would like to provide a space for presentations of members of ESID Juniors working party and young colleagues – graduates of medical schools or medical students willing to pursue their career in immunology, who are looking for early experiences and possible also seeking PhD positions. You all are welcomed to learn and share the knowledge!
