| MEGHÍVÓ XVIII. Magyar Podiátriai és Lábsebészeti Vándorgyűlés Lábelváltozások új kezelési módszerei, work- shop és szeminárium Kecskemét, Granada Konferencia Wellness és Sport Hotel**** 2014. november 28-29. Kedves Kollegina/Kolléga! Kecskemét gyakorlatilag az ország közepe, így földrajzilag is a hazai találkozások helyszíne. Ezért is jelentős és fontos a lábsebészet iránt egyre nagyobb számban érdeklődők számára, hogy a XVIII. Vándorgyűlésünket, 2014. november 28-29-én, Dr. Gera László traumatológus osztályvezető főorvos és munkatársai szervezik, a Bács-Kiskun Megyei kórház és főigazgatója: Dr. Svébis Mihály c. egyetemi docens támogatásával. A korszerű lábsebészet további előnye, hogy az egy napos és ambuláns sebészet keretein belül is végezhető, műszerigénye csekély. A kongresszus szakmai programjába igyekeztünk mindenkit érdeklő általános témákon kívül a ritkábban előforduló és határterületeket is érintő témaköröket is bevonni és számos meghívott külföldi előadó révén még eredményesebbé tenni a tudományos tartalmat. Továbbra is várjuk a lábbal foglalkozó szakemberek, podiáterek, gyógytornászok, gyógy-pedikűrösök, diabetesz szakápolók, védőnők jelentkezését is. Vándorgyűléseink hagyományos része a péntek délelőtti - eddig igen sikeres - társasági program, erre Kecskemét városa nagy választékot kínál, melyre várjuk a kísérőket is. (A kongresszus helyszíne és szálloda választásában - ugyancsak hagyományos már, - hogy a kísérők, családok és gyermekek számára legyen lehetőség wellness használatára és az ott tartózkodás kedvezményes hosszabbítására.) Az esti programjaink a jókedv és a kikapcsolódás mellett az oldott hangulatú, baráti beszélgetések helyszíne is. Reméljük, hogy erre "a találkozásra" is mint magas színvonalú kongresszusra, work shop-ra, emlékezhetünk később. Jöjjenek el, gyertek el minél többen, hogy egymástól tanulhassunk és a tudományos rendezvény vitái mellett jól érezhessük magunkat Kecskeméten. The second Excellence in Paediatrics conference will take place in London on 2-4 December, 2010. Excellence in Paediatrics is an international annual conference, presenting the latest, most insightful and authoritative overview of key developments in paediatrics by outstanding speakers.
The Scientific Committee of Excellence in Paediatrics is mostly comprised of the editors of internationally acclaimed Paediatric Journals and Books published by Wiley-Blackwell.
The scientific programme of the conference aims at meeting the needs of general and specialist paediatricians and general practitioners. Furthermore it will be enhanced by the special sessions organised by:
• The Cochrane Child Health Field and the European Paediatric Association (EPA/UNEPSA) on Evidence Based Medicine and respiratory topics.
• The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, the Harvard Medical School & Children’s Hospital Boston and the University Hospital of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine Vienna will each organise special sessions on selected topics.

On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is our distinct pleasure to announce the 1st edition of the Heart, Vessels & Diabetes European Conference to be held in the capital city of Portugal, Lisbon, from 9 to 11 December 2010.
Our world is facing an epidemic of diabetes and obesity, a population at high risk of cardiovascular complications. It is therefore necessary to promote in depth discussions and collaborations amongst all the professionals concerned by the management of these patients: cardiologists, diabetologists, endocrinologists, nephrologists, neurologists
and internists.
Our ambition is that the Heart, Vessels & Diabetes Conference becomes the European reference on both cardiovascular and diabetes related issues by the creation of a unified forum where all specialists will attend common sessions and share their experience. The scientific programme will include lectures, debates, clinical case presentations as well as industry symposia. European experts will discuss the latest developments of clinical trials and clinical research and will examine their implications for daily practice.
This event of very high scientific standard with a panel of European key opinion leaders will gather a large audience of about 2,000 practitioners in cardiology, diabetes, lipids, blood pressure and related fields. As you will read within this preliminary programme, the members of the Scientific Committee are among some of the most prestigious and renowned cardiologists, diabetologists and endocrinologists in order to ensure the highest scientific level to the sessions.

For several years CSRS-E has organized twice a year the “Hands on Cadaver Course”.
The course combines the unique experience of theoretical classes with hands on practice taught by distinguished faculty members of CSRS-ES. Young orthopedic or neurological surgeons interested in spine pathology benefit by learning invaluable techniques then practicing shoulder to shoulder with some of Europe´s finest surgeons. The Fifth Course was rated extremely well by all participants.
The next course will take place November 26 and 27, 2010 in Barcelona, Spain. The course is held at the well-known and highly respected University of Barcelona´s Faculty of Medicine laboratories. The price for the course is a modest 600 Euros which includes the course, two nights at a hotel, working meals and transportation to and from the course facilities.
