It is a great pleasure and honour to invite you to the 10th EFR – European Federation for coloRectal Cancer Congress to be held from April 20 - 22, 2017 at the Medical University of Vienna. This congress will address state-of-the-art multidisciplinary management of colorectal cancer. The optimal method to diagnose and treat this common cancer requires a multimodality approach: perspectives from endoscopy, pathology, surgery, medical oncology, radiation medicine and biomarker assessment. The symposium sessions will be including life surgeries, hands-on workshop, scientific paper and video presentations.
Apart from a famous Viennese environment during the most beautiful time of the year and a touch of Austrian hospitality, this biannual EFR Conference will prove to be a wonderful opportunity for Colorectal Surgeons from all over the world to get together, learn from each other, and exchange knowledge and experience.

A Magyar Nephrologia Emléknapját 2017. április 12-én szerdán 11 órakor tartjuk a Nemzeti Sírkertben, Korányi Sándor síremlékénél. Még a mai orvos generációk jó része is Korányi Sándor tanítványa. Ilyen hatással csak egy igazán nagy orvos rendelkezhet. Korányi Sándor orvosi, emberi, és etikai világképének is hódolunk a Magyar Nephrologia Emléknapján a Fiumei úti Nemzeti Sírkertben példaképünk sírjánál, halálának 73 évfordulóján 2017. április 12-én, 11 órakor.
Korányi Sándor egyik méltatója, Sonkodi Sándor profeszor a sírnál elmondott emlékbeszédében így nyilatkozott: “ragadjunk meg minden alkalmat és módot ahhoz, hogy Korányi Sándort minél szélesebb körben megismertessük. Ezek a törekvések egyértelműen a magyar nephrologia fejlődését segíthetik elő.” Ennél szebb törekvésünk nem is lehetne, erre hívjuk meg a Magyar Nephrologiai Társaság tagjain kivül a testvértársaságok tagjait is, és minden lelkében hasonló érzést tápláló orvos kollégát.

The British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS) are organising the 35th BSDS Annual Surgery Workshop, which will be taking place on 26th – 28th March 2018, in Newcastle, United Kingdom.
The British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS) are the U.K. leaders in the field of Dermatological Surgery. The purpose of the Society is to promote, for the public benefit, interest in and knowledge of Dermatological Surgery.
BSDS 35th Annual Surgery Workshop, Newcastle
The BSDS Annual Surgery Workshop is being held on 26th – 28th March 2018, in Newcastle, U.K.
It is a long-established training course in skin surgery, now in its 35th consecutive year. Teaching is provided by an experienced faculty which comprises of nationally recognised experts in skin surgery. Presented over 2.5 days, the course material is diverse - consisting of plenary sessions, Q&A panels and hands-on practical work on pig skin. Designed to provide progression for different skill levels, there will be opportunity for one to one tuition, whilst lectures and practicals will cover basic and more advanced aspects of skin surgery.
The Annual Workshop is aimed primarily at dermatologists, particularly trainees, but also SAS doctors and consultants. Clinicians from other disciplines with an interest in and clinical commitment to skin surgery may also be able to attend.
