    The next IFCC webinar: "Evidence-based Laboratory Medicine" will be held on 8 Sept, 2021.

     

    The aim of this webinar is the understanding and the methodology of EBLM:

    - how to find the evidence
    - how to appraise the evidence
    - how to act on evidence

     

    This can be achieved by methodological research, international surveys and by educating laboratory professionals in the following topics:

    1. How to perform primary diagnostic studies
    2. How to carry out systematic reviews in laboratory medicine
    3. How to make evidence-based guideline recommendations in laboratory medicine
    4. How to implement evidence-based diagnostic guidelines in clinical practice

     

    The webinar will consist of three presentations of 20 min per speaker, plus 20 min panel discussion

    - Introduction to EBLM (Dr Seema Bhargava – India)
    - Guideline Implementation (Dr Andrew Don-Wauchope – Canada)
    - Point of Care Testing and EBLM (Dr Katrina Rodríguez-Capote – Canada)
