On behalf of the EFLM D-E&P, Committee “Congresses and Postgraduate Education”, we invite all EFLM Academy members to participate in the "Meet the Expert" webinar series in 2025! The aim of the course is to discuss specific topics which require expertise in the interpretation of laboratory tests. Each meeting will focus on a specific subject: experts and participants will discuss real life data and the possible related problematic situations.

The idea is to step out of the textbook to the reality and also deal with the greyzone results.

We would like to invite you to take part in a European survey on the current practice of lipoprotein(a) measurement in medical laboratories. Lipoprotein(a) has been identified as cardiovascular risk factor several decades ago, and this has been amply confirmed again in the last decade.

The EFLM Scientific Research Grant has been established to promote science and facilitate research in Laboratory Medicine in Europe.

Two grants of the maximum amount of € 10.000 each, are awarded each year, one for an applicant coming from a country enjoying “Vic Blaton” scholarship programme and the other for an applicant coming from any other country in Europe.
