"Ismerje meg kockázatát" - ez a jelmondata idén a 2008. szeptember 28.-án sorra kerülő eseménynek. a hagyományos Szívünk Napja rendezvénynek. A szervező Magyar Kardiológusok Társasága és a Magyar Nemzeti Szívalapítvány célja, hogy minden érdeklődő a saját személyes módján tudjon meg többet a szív és érrendszeri betegségek kockázati tényezőiről, azok felismeréséről. A fővárosi Városligetben tartandó rendezvényen különböző ingyenes szűrővizsgálatok (koleszterin-szint-, vérnyomás-, vércukorszint mérés), tájékoztató, felvilágosító előadások, többek közt a dohányzásról való leszokásról, szórakoztató és egyéb egészségmegőrzéssel kapcsolatos programok várják a szakma és a laikus közönség képviselőit. We all know that stroke causes a huge loss of high quality of life and is an enormous economic burden to all nations. However, there is scientifi c evidence that with appropriate care it is possible to recover from stroke. This symposium will highlight the recent progress in acute care of stroke. We hope that TAST 2008 will provide an excellent opportunity for many European, American, Australian, African and Far East neurologists and stroke physicians to share their experiences with friends and colleagues in a very attractive venue.

Rendezvény kezdete: 2007.03.22.Rendezvény vége: 2007.03.25. It is with pleasure that we would like to invite you to join us in Bad Hofgastein (Salzburg) for the 1st European Meeting on Rehabilitation Medicine in Physical Activities – Sports and Spa, from March 22–25, 2007.
We have selected the venue, one of Austria’s most popular winter sport and spa resorts, especially in order to combine theory and practice in the breathtaking scenery of the Austrian Alps.
Indeed in addition to the main topics and invited talks by an outstanding international faculty, we will propose hands-on-courses, as well practical applications of the wide range of sports and spa activities Bad Hofgastein is so famous for.
Special emphasis is placed on discussions, both formal and informal during the afternoon breaks. We look forward to receiving abstract submissions in order to facilitate exchange of experiences in the field. We have dedicated a large amount of the programme to submitted papers presenting research activities and will provide a basis for lively discussion both during and outside of the sessions. We cordially invite you to submit your papers until January 15, 2007.
