A Magyar Tüdőgyógyász Társaság a COPD aggasztó morbiditási mutatói alapján a 2005. évet a COPD ellenes küzdelem évének nyilvánította
és a betegség hatékony megelőzése, kezelése és rehabilitációja érdekében COPD ellenes programot hirdetett. Ennek fő célkitűzései – átfogó továbbképző tevékenység, szűrő programok beindítása, a szervezett dohányzás leszoktatás feltételeinek javítása, a lakosság tájékoztatása – az év folyamán megvalósultak.
Reményeink szerint a 2005. évi program lezárása egyúttal a kezdete annak a folyamatos szakmai tevékenységnek, aminek eredménye a
„COPD járvány” megfékezése, a betegség morbiditási mutatóinak a javítása lehet.
Szeretettel várjuk a pontszerző akkreditált rendezvényre a tüdőgyógyász kollegákat, valamint a társszakmák képviselőit.

The special Guests are Giovanni Botti (Saló / Italy), Dirk Richter (Wesseling / Germany) and Rudi Unterthiner (Quadra Island / Canada).
