„A krónikus veseelégtelenség progressziójának lassítása – közösen többet tehetünk” című kötelezően választható pontszerző (16 kredit) szakmai továbbképzés 2008. március 28-án kerül megrendezésre, a Semmelweis Egyetem I. sz. Belgyógyászati Klinika Nephrologiai Munkacsoportjának
rendezésében.

Ma Magyarországon 3-400.000-re tehető azon betegek száma, akiknél valamely mértékű krónikus vesefunkció károsodás áll fenn. E betegek között egyre több az idős, számos társbetegségben szenvedő páciens. A vesebetegség időben történő felismerése és megfelelő gondozása révén a vesebetegség progressziója lassítható, csökkenthető a betegek morbiditása és mortalitása. Ehhez elengedhetetlen a nephrologiai szakrendelés és a társszakmák szoros együttműködése. A továbbképzésen az együttműködés során felmerülő gyakorlati szempontokat kívánjuk hangsúlyozni elsősorban nephrologusok, családorvosok, belgyógyászok, diabetologusok és kardiológusok számára.
Az akkreditált programon való részvétel és sikeres vizsga esetén 16 pont szerezhető.
