We are happy to announce that the 10th International Symposium on Diabetes, Hypertension, Metabolic Syndrome and Pregnancy (DIP 2019) will take place in Florence, Italy, May 29 – June 1, 2019 Since the 1st meeting, the DIP Symposium has grown tremendously, dealing with over 80 years of knowledge, innovative research and the most up-to-date tools, techniques and integrative approach. DIP is considered a leading symposium in the field of Maternal and Fetal medicine, presenting data and management protocols to ensure the optimal outcome of pregnancies complicated by diabetes, hypertension and metabolic syndrome.
The 10th DIP Symposium will highlight the progress of pregnancy - from pre-pregnancy, trimester by trimester, to labor, delivery and post-partum care. Focus will be placed on the prediction and prevention of pregnancy complications – hyperglycemia, hypertension - preeclampsia, preterm birth, NCD’s (Non-Communicable Diseases) and pregnancy, fetal growth and others, as well as the cycle of future NCD’s that begins during the intrauterine life - onto mother and offspring.
