A Magyar Tudományos Akadémia tisztelettel meghívja a Magyar Tudomány Ünnepe "Járványok idején" rendezvényére.
A COVID-19 pandémia az emberek többségét életük során sosem tapasztalt kihívásokkal szembesítette, legyenek ezek egészségügyi, társadalmi vagy akár gazdasági jellegűek. Bár a legnyilvánvalóbb az orvosi és virológiai problémákat boncolgató megközelítés, számos egyéb tudományág foglalkozik világjárványok mechanizmusainak, dinamikájának, történetének kutatásával. Mindamellett, hogy egy pandémia megfelelő kezelése nem nélkülözheti az-egymástól akár távol eső-területek tudásának szintetizálását, sokat tanulhatunk nemcsak a történelmi korok embereitől, de más kórokozók által keltett, tömeges
megbetegedések kezelése során nyert tapasztalatokból is. Az Immunológiai Munkabizottság ezúttal arra vállalkozik a Magyar Tudomány Ünnepén, hogy multidiszciplináris megközelítésben mutassa be a pandémiák különböző vonatkozásait.
