A Magyar ILCO Szövetség két napos nemzetközi konferenciát és kiállítást szervez 2008 február 8-9-én a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia Székházában.
A konferencia célja, hogy a komplex rehabilitációban érintett valamennyi szereplő megismerje a legújabb magyar és külföldi orvosi, orvos-technológiai, dietetikai eredményeket és rehabilitációs eljárásokat. A konferencia egyik fő célja, hogy felhívja a magyar társadalom figyelmét a prevenció és a rehabilitáció fontosságára, s ennek nyomán olyan, akár több határterületet érintő kutatások induljanak el, amelyek lehetővé teszik a béldaganatos betegek komplex rehabilitációját elősegítő protokollok kidolgozását és széles körű alkalmazását. Nagyon fontosnak tartjuk, hogy a rehabilitáció kérdésköre az oktatásban is a mainál hangsúlyosabb szerepet kapjon. Várjuk az érdeklődő PhD hallgatók és szakdolgozók jelentkezését is.

The Adriatic Vascular Summit 2009 will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on Friday, October 23rd through Saturday, October 24th, 2009.
As internationally renowned clinicians and leaders in their fields, the faculty of the Adriatic Vascular Summit 2009 is anticipating an audience made up of a variety of interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, advanced endovascular interventional radiologists, to name a few.
The program will include presentations on vascular disease epidemiology, a wide variety of diagnostic procedures, various innovative surgical techniques, and other endovascular intervention topics. Through interactive live case presentations, the standard of care and alternative options in specific patient cases will be explored. Special emphasis on how to perform complex interventional procedures and how to manage or avoid major complications will be a substantial part of this educational venue.
