WIP combined focus on participant-friendly yet intense educational activities together with “hands-on” courses, has yielded the development of novel interventional techniques for the management of pain. At the same time we have fostered consensus building amongst pain experts on the effectiveness of existing techniques and on avenues for further improvements in therapeutic performances.

A Pécsi Tudományegyetem Pszichiátriai és Pszichoterápiás Klinikája 2012 őszén megrendezi a „Pszichiátriai Gondozók XVII. Szakmai Hétvégéje” konferenciát pszichiáter szakorvosok számára. A konferencia idõpontja: 2012. november 8-10.
A konferencia tudományos programja áttekintést ad a hazai ellátó helyeken folyó pszichiátriai gondozás gyakorlatáról, valamint a szervezeti, finanszírozási és jogi aktualitásokról.
A rendezvény akkreditációja folyamatban van.
