Az idei Hámori Artur Belgyógyászati Napok előadásai úgy, mint tavaly ismét két nagy téma köré rendeződnek, most a genetika és a dohányzás kerül terítékre. Ez alkalommal is a nefrológia, a diabetológia, a hipertónia, a kardiológia és a dietetika területére terjesztjük ki a kérdések megválaszolását, azaz igyekszünk a hagyományokhoz híven, a belgyógyászat minél nagyobb területét lefedve a holisztikus szemléletet követni. Az elmúlt év tudományos rendezvényei és eredményei újra meg újra felhívták a figyelmet arra, hogy a belgyógyászat különböző területeinek összefogása szolgálja a szenvedők gyógyulását, a tudomány megújulását. Ennek a gondolatnak a jegyében rendezzük meg immár ötödik alkalommal a Hámori Artur Belgyógyászati Napokat, amelyre ismét hívjuk az érdeklődőket baráti beszélgetésre.

A Magyar Primer Prevenciós Orvosi Egyesület és a Semmelweis Egyetem I.sz. Belgyógyászati Klinika közös szervezésében továbbképző tanfolyamot indítunk, ami az egyesületi céljainak megfelelően - szigorúan tudományos alapon - a genetikai faktorok, a környezeti tényezők, az étrendi hatások és a mozgás betegségek kockázatára gyakorolt hatásaival foglalkozik. Ezzel remélhetőleg elősegíti a primer prevenciós szemlélet elterjedését a mindennapi orvosi gyakorlatban.
A 2011. tavaszi tanfolyam helyszíne az I. sz. Belgyógyászati Klinika tanterme. The 1st Daily Dermato-Oncology Symposium will be the first meeting of a series of educational symposiums in Trieste held under the auspices of the Melanoma World Society (MWS). This multidisciplinary meeting should give an overview of the private and hospital-based management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. The programs aims to build a bridge between clinical research and daily routine in the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and other forms of skin cancer. The two-day program is designed as multidisciplinary program targeting on private and hospital based dermatologists, medical oncologists, oncologic surgeons and other specialties from different parts of Europe. It provides an practically relevant overview and update on the most recent studies related to dermatologic oncology.

Dear ESSR attendees!
The Boards of the European and Austrian Society of Surgical Research together with the LOC have extensively discussed the current global dynamics of Covid-19.
The start of a new academic year with further uncertainties regarding the development of the pandemic, possible new travel restrictions or tightening of already existing ones, but especially with health and safety of all participants being the utmost priority, we have decided to organize a totally virtual joint meeting of the European Society for Surgical Research and the Austrian Society for Surgical Research.
The new dates of the meeting are December 10th - 11th 2020.
With the knowledge of the intrinsic shortcomings of virtual conferences, we will work hard towards a virtual meeting that addresses two main issues: knowledge transfer and networking. Live talks, recorded presentations, extended Q&A sessions, and interaction possibilities with exhibitors should support us in this (ad)venture.
