Szíves figyelmébe ajánljuk és tisztelettel meghívjuk a „Húgyúti fertőzések klinikuma, mikrobiológiai diagnosztikája és célzott antibiotikus kezelése” c. szinten tartó és továbbképző tanfolyamra. Évek óta követjük a kongresszusok és továbbképzők programját és ez a téma valamiért mindig periférikusan jelenik meg, vagy kimarad, holott a maga komplexitásával igen jelentős mindennapos orvosi, ápolói és szakasszisztensi feladat. A húgyúti fertőzések a nem járványos fertőzések között az első helyet foglalják el, s a mikrobiológiai diagnosztikai laboratóriumok vizsgálati anyagának több mint 50%-át adják a vizelet bakteriológiai tenyésztések. A kórokozó az esetek döntő többségében csak tenyésztéssel mutatható ki és identifikálható, az antibiotikum érzékenység/rezisztencia meghatározáshoz pedig kell a kitenyészett kórokozó szintenyészete. A húgyúti fertőzés pontos diagnózisának megállapításához rendkívüli mértékben egymásra van utalva a kezelő orvos és a mikrobiológus, a betegápoló és a laboratóriumi asszisztens, mert szobahőmérsékleten állandóan változó anyagból, a vizeletből kell kimutatni a kórokozót számos eszközrendszer segítségével, s ha a folyamatba egyetlen hiba csúszik, az téves diagnózishoz és helytelen kezeléshez vezethet. A kezelőorvos részére sok esetben probléma a mikrobiológiai lelet értelmezése és a megfelelő antibiotikum kiválasztása, különösen, ha a betegnek más problémája is van, pl. terhes vagy vesefunkciós zavarai vannak. Ezért gondoltuk, hogy olyan továbbképző tematikát állítunk össze és mutatunk be, amely együtt tárgyalja a húgyúti fertőzések klinikumát, mikrobiológiáját és terápiáját életszakaszok és nemek szerint. A program végrehajtásához olyan kiváló előadókat sikerült megnyerni, akik a témában kiemelkedően járatosak és elismertek. Nagy örömünkre szolgálna, ha Kollegina/Kollega jelentkezne a tanfolyamra.

Az MH Egészségügyi Központ (MHEK) Endokrinológia Szakprofil továbbképzése 2015. második (a 2015/2016 tanév I. féléve) felében szeptember 11-én (pénteken) és szeptember 12-én (szombaton) kerül megrendezésre. Az endokrinológus szakorvosképzést, továbbképzést, belgyógyászok, gyermekgyógyászok, nőgyógyászok, háziorvosok, diabetológusok és PhD hallgatók képzését szolgálja (utóbbi vonatkozásban a Semmelweis Egyetem akkreditált kurzusa). A továbbképzés szabadon választható tanfolyamként akkreditálásra került. Sikeres tesztvizsga esetén az orvos résztvevők 32 kreditpontot szereznek.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure to invite you to the 15th Congress of ISPD, which will be held in Madrid, Spain, from September 7th to 10th, 2014.
During the past years the increasing number of participants confirmed that the field of peritoneal dialysis is flourishing and increasingly contributing to cutting edge research in nephrology. In particular ISPD as a society is growing and expanding. More young physicians and scientists are joining the community, bringing fresh enthusiasm and new ideas, from many parts of the world!
The 15th Congress of ISPD will be an excellent opportunity to realize the changes in the field and to envision new perspectives for basic and clinical research. The ground breaking translational program will draw together experts from all over the world and will encompass innovations in diagnosis, advances in clinical practice, novel therapeutic approaches, and new insights into cellular and animal models. In addition, specific educational sessions, covering a basic knowledge will be available to encourage the participation of ISPD junior members.
Spain and Portugal are European countries involved in the field of peritoneal dialysis and the Group of Peritoneal Studies from Madrid (IRSIN, REDinREN, Hospitals La Paz and La Princesa) and Hospital San Antonio, from Porto are two of the leading research groups in peritoneal pathophysiology and peritoneal function. Besides, the city of Madrid with its historical background and long-standing tradition is a cosmopolitan and stimulating place able to inspire and entertain scientists from around the world.
Thus, we are confident that the enchanted charm of our city will be a trend setter for the future of peritoneal dialysis!

WELCOME TO THE 21ST WORLD CONGRESS OF IACAPAP
Dear Delegates
The South African Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (SAACAPAP) is proud to host the first IACAPAP World Congress to be held on the African continent, and doubly proud to be doing so during the term of office of the first African President of IACAPAP, Olayinka Omigbodun, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
The SAACAPAP was founded in 1978 and published the first issue of its Journal of Child and Adolescent Mental Health in 1989. The SAACAPAP holds biennial congresses, organised by Eastern Sun Events, so we are well positioned to host the 2014 IACAPAP congress in Durban. There is a wealth of scientific research being conducted in South Africa in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, much of which I hope will be showcased at the congress, in addition to the work presented by the international delegates. A highlight of the congress will be the 6 Plenary Lectures by an outstanding group of speakers, and the 18 concurrent "state of the art" lectures by experts in their field.
The International Convention Centre in Durban is one of the most advanced conference facilities in the world. Durban, capital of the province of KwaZulu Natal, is South Africa's premier holiday destination. The subtropical climate and warm Indian Ocean mean all-year-round swimming and outdoor activities. Several game parks are only a few hours' drive to the north, and the majestic Drakensberg mountain range, with its holiday hotels and scenic hikes, is only a few hours' drive to the west.
On behalf of the SAACAPAP, I welcome you to South Africa and to the 21st World Congress of IACAPAP. We promise you an unforgettable African experience in our country, the cradle of civilisation and the home of Nelson Mandela.
