Tisztelt Kolléga!

A Magyar Belgyógyász Társaság hazánk egyik legnagyobb múltú társasága, ami több ezer belgyógyász számára kíván szakmai fórumot biztosítani. Sajnos, az utóbbi években a tagok száma és a társaság programjainak látogatottsága is csökkent, annak ellenére, hogy a magyarországi belgyógyászok minden korábbinál több és súlyosabb kihívással néznek szembe. Rendkívül fontosnak tartjuk, hogy a Belgyógyász Társaság erős és egységes szervezetként képviselhesse a belgyógyászok érdekeit, és biztosítsa a szakmai tovább fejlődésüket. Ehhez azonban a belgyógyászok közösségének támogatására van szükség.

Ezért kérjük, hogy váljanak Társaságunk aktív tagjaivá (a már regisztrált tagok rendezzék tagdíjukat) és biztassa erre kollégáit is.

Reméljük, hogy Társaságunk soron következő eseményén, a megújult formában megrendezésre kerülő Belgyógyász Nagygyűlésen, november 14-16. között, Visegrádon, Önt és munkatársait is személyesen üdvözölhetjük.

Egyben kérjük, hogy támogassa a fiatal munkatársai részvételét a hazai belgyógyászat legfontosabb eseményén és tegye lehetővé számukra, hogy az esetbemutatással is részt vehessenek az eseményen.

Szeretettel üdvözöljük a Magyar Kardiológusok Társasága 12. Budapesti Kardiológiai Napok rendezvénye kapcsán. Az elmúlt évtizedben többször változtak a konferencia szervezési, rendezési, programtervezési körülményei. A múlt évi, legnagyobb részvétellel lezajlott három napos rendezvény formáját idén is folytatni tervezzük. Mindemellett megtartjuk az online-hibrid formátumot. A programban szerepelni fognak az Európai Kardiológus Társaság által bemutatni tervezett legfrissebb ajánlások is. A BKN sikerét jelentő alapgondolat nem változik: egyszekciós, rövid áttekintő előadásokban a kardiológia teljes spektrumát felölelő programot igyekszünk biztosítani, mely a legszélesebb érdeklődő szakmai közönség számára építő, mottónk szerint „tudásfrissítő”, divatosan „update” konferenciát jelent. Ennek alapját az egyes szakterületek hagyományosan legjobb előadói, állócsillagai jelentik, amint áttekintik az aktuális eltelt év újdonságait azok számára, akik az adott területen nem rendelkeznek napi rutinnal. Konferenciánk vonzereje is pontosan ebben rejlik, ennek köszönhető a 2023 évben rekordszámú, 600 főnél is nagyobb hallgatóság. Tovább emeli az élményt a környezet, a helyszín, a szakmai nkiállítás, szponzoraink aktivitásai, valamint a személyes találkozások lehetősége, öröme.

Tervezett témáink között szerepel:
• az új ESC hypertonia ajánlás
• az új ESC krónikus coronaria syndroma ajánlás
• az új ESC pitvarfibrilláció ajánlás
• az új ESC perifériás arteriás és aorta betegségek ajánlás
• Szívelégtelenség
• Kardiorenális syndroma
• Kardiobesitologia
• Kardiabetológia

Természetesen szó esik a megszokott témákról is, a prevenciótól a rehabilitációig, a háziorvosok, szakorvosok által is elérhető és a kardiológiai centrumok által nyújtott diagnosztikus és terápiás lehetőségekig. Szeretettel várjuk Önöket, várunk Benneteket 2024 november 14-én a szokott helyen!

Dear EPA National Society/Association Members,

The next EPA Ordinary General Assembly will be organised on 2 March 2014 from 18:45 to 21:45, during the 22nd European Congress of Psychiatry in Munich, Germany. All EPA National Society/Association Members that are fully paid-up (fee 2013) will have voting right at the General Assembly.

During this General Assembly, EPA Board elections will be organised. On this occasion, 8 seats will be opened for election or re-election, for a term of mandate of 4 years (from 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2018).

All EPA Individual Members and Fellows whose membership dues are fully paid up (fee 2014), as well as all Honorary members are eligible to stand for election to the Board.

According to the EPA Statutes (article 13.1.vii), there shall be no more than two members of the Board from any one country. Please note that consequently candidates from certain countries may not be eligible to stand for election. Please find enclosed the list of current EPA Board members.

Candidates for the available positions have to submit their applications to the EPA Secretary General via the EPA Extranet (http://extranet.europsy.net). The deadline for application is 1 February 2014. No application received after the official deadline and/or via other means than EPA Extranet will be considered. If you need any assistance with the EPA Extranet, please contact the EPA Administrative Office (at epa.membership@europsy.net) before 23 January 2014.

The application file must contain an application letter including:
• a statement that they are willing to devote no less than two weeks per year to work related to the EPA (such as participation in the activities of at least one Section, recruitment of new members for the Association and of participants for its Congress, contacts with national psychiatric societies in their area, and contributions to the journal of the Association)
• a note concerning their intentions in relation to their membership at the Board
• a statement concerning possible conflicts of interests
If the candidate has received support from a National Society/Association Member, this may be stated in the application letter.

Candidates will have to attach the following documents to the application letter:
• a one-page curriculum vitae, including information on academic degrees, current position and main professional achievements (in teaching, research, clinical practice and organization of scientific events), as well as on their previous work in the EPA or in other international associations
• a list of papers and books published in the last five years
• In case any support is stated in the application letter, an official support letter from the National Society/Association Member must be attached. Any candidate may provide the support letter from one National Society/Association Member only.

After the deadline, all applications will be available on the EPA Extranet for consultation to the EPA Members only.

The 22nd European Congress of Psychiatry (EPA 2014) will be a major meeting of international psychiatrists dedicated to promoting European psychiatry and to improving mental health around the globe. On behalf of the European Psychiatric Association (EPA), it is our great pleasure to invite you to join us at this occasion.

The peer reviewer should:
- Attend the course for its whole duration, if possible
- Evaluate the course and the course director against some defined points
- Concentrate on educational, didactical and methodological aspects of the course
- Focus on what practices worked and what practices did not
- Provide opinion on whether the course can be recommended for future use

The score given to the course by the peer reviewer and his/her recommendation regarding the course future use will be not communicated to the course director concerned. However the course director will be provided with the peer’s comments on how to further improve the course quality.

15 Academia educational courses will be held at EPA Munich 2014. Please find here the detailed timetable as well as an example of the peer review form.
