A European Society for Surgical Research (ESSR) 2014-ben Budapesten rendezi meg 49. nemzetközi kongresszusát.
A Kongresszushoz kapcsoltan több, eddig is nagy sikerrel megrendezett sebész-technikai képzésre nyílik lehetőség.
A kongresszus egyik különlegessége a European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) egyik diviziójának a 'Young Professionals in Transplantation' csatlakozása lesz.
