 Tisztelt Tagtársak, Kedves Kollégák!

A hagyományos lebonyolítási sorrendet megtörve, Pécs kapta meg a lehetőséget a 2025. évi kongresszus megszervezésére.

Ugyan némi időveszteséget szenvedtünk az elején, de az előző években már megszokott szervezőiroda hathatós segítségével ezt tudjuk kompenzálni. 

A kongresszus 2025. május 8-10. között kerül megrendezésre Zalakaroson, a Hotel Karos Spa-ban. 

Örömmel vállaltuk a megrendezést azért is, mert Pécsen megint készül valami új a transzplantáció területén. 
Hazai pályán mindig könnyebb elő állni az újdonsággal.

Szeretnék, ha ez a kongresszus nem csupán egy lenne a sok közül. Egy-egy nagyobb téma mellé kerekasztal beszélgetéseket is tervezünk, megtörve kicsit ezzel a korábbi rendezvények gyakorlatát. Ezen gondolat mentén szeretnék mindenkit bátorítani, hogyha bármilyen kérése, ötlete van tudományos téren, azzal keressen minket.

Dear Friends, dear Colleagues,
 
We are very pleased that in 2025, the next, 44th chapter of the European Workshop for Rheumatology Research (EWRR) will be organized again, ten years after our successul meeting in 2015, in the beautiful city of Budapest, Hungary.
 
The EWRR has been considered Europe’s premier meeting for basic and translational research in the field of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs). Its primary aim is to attract young scientists and to give them the opportunity to present their work in an informal and interactive environment.
 
The series of EWRR started in 1981 and it still provides up-to-date information of basic mechanisms and advanced treatment of RMDs.
 
Our programme will contain nine major scientific sessions and six keynote lectures. The 27 state-of-the-art lectures and the keynotes will be delivered by some of the most renowned international researchers both inside and outside the field of rheumatology. Moreover, the programme will include short oral presentations of the most outstanding abstracts, as well as guided poster tours.
 
During the three event-packed days of EWRR 2025, there will be sufficient time for learning, as well as scientific and social networking.
 
EULAR has long been a supporter of the workshop by providing a number of bursaries. In addition, some EULAR Study Group meetings take place prior to the EWRR.
 
Finally, we thank pharmaceutical companies for offering an unconditioned support in order to keep organising fees relatively low. This would help young researchers, fellows and students to actively participate in EWRR 2025.
 
Budapest, the pearl of the Danube, the capital of Hungary, is a city of history, architecture, thermal spas, good food and wine. We are pleased to welcome you to the next exciting chapter of the EWRR saga.

Dear colleagues,

The EAACI Hybrid Congress 2021 will be taking place on July 10-12. This year we will have the chance to explore yet a new format, where a fantastic scientific programme will intertwine both digital and physical aspects of the meeting.

This year’s motto is “Harmonizing research and patient care in allergy, asthma and clinical immunology”. Although in recent years an effort in spreading clinical guidelines, position papers, and other recommendations for practicing allergy has been done by different societies and scientific organizations, the practice of allergy and research still differs across countries in Europe and other parts of the world. In this sense, EAACI wants to be present in this continuous effort, and our Congress will provide the setting to stir discussions on the best ways to tackle this challenge.

After a year of unexpected scenarios and travel restrictions where we were driven to find new possibilities to connect, we are now well-versed to build on our digital component. In a sense, technology traversing physical borders and bringing us together globally also represents an important harmonization.

The scientific programme crafted with the valuable input from the Spanish Scientific Programme Committee will include new frontiers in asthma, challenges in allergen immunotherapy, novelties in allergy prevention, use of biologicals in allergy, precision medicine in drug hypersensitivity and food allergy, environmental health, pro-con sessions and interactive discussions. As always, communications from around the world are welcome.

The physical part of the meeting that will take place in Krakow, Poland will provide you with the valuable inter-personal conversations between a selected pool of experts in our field that make EAACI Congresses so unique. For the second time Poland and the Polish Society of Allergology are honored to host the participants of the EAACI Congress. The EAACI Congress 2009 in Warsaw was one of the best attended meetings in EAACI history. Krakow will now host the physical part of the EAACI Congress in 2021: a unique place on the map of Poland, where great history meets dynamic modernity.

Krakow is the ancient capital of Poland, located on the largest Polish river - Wisla, where almost every building brings a fascinating heritage of cultures and nationalities to this city. It is a city full of monuments, inspiring places and proximity to the most beautiful Polish mountains - Tatry. In Krakow an unique Jewish district can be found - Kazimierz, where you can feel the atmosphere of old synagogues and Jewish markets. Krakow is the seat of the oldest Polish university - the Jagiellonian University, which is famous of many great leaders of world science – like Nicolaus Copernicus. It is also a place of formation for Polish allergology, where many founders of our specialization created methods that are still in use in allergology.

Krakow is also the seat of many universities; whose students and graduates create a dynamic and young image of the metropolis. ICE Krakow Centre - the venue of the EAACI Congress - is an example of excellent architecture, located in the city centre, and enabling the organization of meetings at the highest world level.

We are certain that Krakow and the ICE Congress Centre will remain in the memory of all participants of the EAACI 2021 Congress for a long time.

The joint efforts of the Spanish and Polish local organising committees in the making of this congress are a perfect representation of what our pan-European Academy stands for, merging the best science from all corners of Europe into an exciting event.

IFPA World Conference

Abstract submission opens in December 2020.


The World Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis Conference is an established scientific conference organized by IFPA. It presents the latest developments in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis research. Because medical professionals from both the dermatology and rheumatology field attend, the conference provides a unique cross-specialty forum. Delegates can explore the psoriasis disease from different perspectives by networking with patients and industry representatives in attendance. Since 2006, we have organized the World Conference every third year. The latest conference drew over 1,100 delegates from across the world. Our aim with the World Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis Conference is to:

• Increase global recognition of the psoriasis disease and its severity;
• Unite psoriasis stakeholders, to strengthen international collaboration;
• Share the latest scientific and clinical developments on psoriasis;
• Encourage new research projects;
• Highlight the patient perspective, so that the conference will ultimately improve living conditions for the international psoriasis community.

The 6th World Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis Conference will be held on July 1-3, 2021 in Stockholm, Sweden.
Its theme is CONNECTED, INFORMED, and UNITED to improve multidisciplinary care for people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
