Kedves Kollégák!
A 2021. évi Vándorgyűlés két okból is különlegesnek ígérkezik. Az egyik ok, hogy jubileumi találkozóra készülünk, hiszen 50 évvel ezelőtt, 1971-ben alakult meg a Magyar Immunológiai Társaság (MIT). A másik ok, ami kivételessé teszi az idei vándorgyűlést, hogy a koronavírus-járvány miatti online rendezvények után mindannyian nagyon várjuk már, hogy a régi ismerősökkel, barátokkal való találkozás újra átmelengesse a szívünket-lelkünket.
A Vándorgyűlés programja kissé eltér majd a megszokottól, mivel az első nap előadásaiban a MIT alapítóiról emlékezünk meg, visszatekintünk a hazai immunológia szárba szökkenésének és kivirágzásának folyamatára, és felidézzük a társaság fél évszázados történetének legfontosabb eseményeit. A második nap első szekciójában a felkért előadók a SARS-CoV-2 vírus és a koronavírus elleni vakcinák által kiváltott immunválaszokról felgyülemlett ismereteket összegezik majd. Ezt követően lesz lehetőség – a második nap további részében és a harmadik napon – a saját kutatási eredmények bemutatására előadások és poszterek formájában. Külföldi meghívott előadókra az idén nem számítunk, ezért a vándorgyűlés hivatalos nyelve a magyar lesz. A szakmai program elmaradhatatlan része lesz idén is a kutatásban és a klinikumban használható új termékek és berendezések bemutatása a forgalmazó cégek képviselői által.
