We would like to invite your members to take part in the congress Immunology at the Confluence of Multidisciplinary Approaches to be held in Belgrade, Serbia on December 6-8, 2019.

Information about the congress is available at https://www.isos.rs/congress-2019.

Thanks to EFIS, we are able to provide 20 stipends of 250 EUR each for the participation at the congress. Applicants for stipends should send their abstract and letter of motivation to belgrade.immuno2019@gmail.com, no later than October 15th. Decisions will be made according to the scientific merit of applications. Members of all EFIS member societies, except the Immunological Society of Serbia, are eligible to apply.

Registration fee for the conference is 100 EUR. Hotel Mona Plaza (the venue of the congress) offers accommodation in two-bed rooms for the price of 80 EUR per night with breakfast (40 EUR per person).
Major efforts will be made to engage congress participants and to maximize interaction during sessions and breaks. The congress program includes more than 20 speakers with extraordinary scientific contributions. Short oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts. All sessions will be in English.

We would like to inform you that the 4th Meeting of Middle – European Societes for Immunology and Allergology (MESIA) will be held on November 28-30, 2019 in Slovakia, at the premises of x-bionic® sphere hotel, Šamorín. The high scientific level of the event is guaranteed by the organizing committee. The co-organizers are the international immunology and allergology committees from the middle Europe.

All the information about the event (program, registration,
accommodation, etc.) can be found at the web site http://www.mesia2019.sk

To share your research with an international audience, submit your abstract for oral or poster presentation by September 30th, 2019. The Book of abstract will be published in the European Journal of Immunology as its Supplement. ( IF = 4.695)

The registration is open until November 15th, 2019.

Course aims

1 . To educate dermatovenereologists on all aspects of Commercial Sex Work(CSW).

2. To demonstrate the influence of sexually transmitted infections (STI) on CSWs and if not prevented into wider Society.

3. To demonstrate the role of prostitution and the role played by dermatovenereologists in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of STIs.

4. To illustrate the multifactorial social and economic causes of CSW at present times influencing STIs /CSW in Europe .

5. To appreciate the different legal systems and social models and their role on CSWs.

6. To appreciate that technical progress via the media and the web has influence in attitudes to CSW but also in education for prevention of STIs in both CSWs and their clients.

7. Resistance of antibiotics to some STIs (e.g. gonorrhoea). STI prevention (including mother to child)
