Nemzetközi Utazási Orvostani Társaság XI. Kongresszusa Budapesten kerül megrendezésre, 2009.05.24.- 05.28. között.

A kongresszus 10 kreditpontszerző. A magyar résztvevők számára különllegesen csökkentett kongresszusi regisztrációs dijat biztosít a nemzetközi társaság, abból a célból, hogy minél többen kapjanak lehetőséget az utazási orvostan időszerű problémáinak megismerésére.
Az utazási orvostan nagy jövő előtt áll Magyarországon, hiszen ez az orvosi szakág eddig nem létezett hazánkban. Most egyedülálló lehetőségünk van arra, hogy a külföldi tapasztalatokat számbavéve, de azokat a magyar viszonyokra alkalmazva, és a magyar egészségügyi ellátó rendszerbe integrálva honosítsuk meg az utazási orvostan fiatal tudományát. A MÉBOT orvosai voltak az elsők, akik 2004-ben felfigyeltek az utazási biztosítás és az utazási orvostan szoros kapcsolatára, és rá egy évre már meg is alakult a MÉBOT-on belül az utazási biztositás külön szekciója. Ebben az évben a MÉBOT az OALI-val együtt konferenciát tartott a magyarországi utazási orvostan tudományának pozícionálásáról és a tudomány Magyarországon való alkalmazhatóságáról. Ezen a konferencián ( mely a MÉBOT kezdeményezőképességét dícséri ) először sikerült egy asztalhoz ültetni a különböző szakterület művelőit, hogy az új kihívásoknak megfeleni tudó, multidiszciplináris utazási orvostani szemléletnek megfelelően konszenzusra jussanak az alapvető kérdésekben. A biztosítási orvostan feladata, hogy az utazási orvostan szakágait koordinálja, hiszen a biomedicinális prevenció az utasbiztosítások nélkül nem tudja elérni az utazáskörüli megbetegedések morbiditásának csökkenését. |

We want to get your attention to the Austrian Symposium on Dialysis Access and Central Venous Catheters which will take place for the 5th time in Vienna 5th-6th of December 2025.
It is an interdisciplinary, multiprofessional meeting where all dialysis-relevant stakeholders (nephrology, shunt surgery, dialysis care, radiology, patients, industry) meet. It is therefore an unprecedented opportunity to get to know state of the art treatment/diagnostic methods as well as innovations on this field.
After all 4 previous symposia were very well received with over 200 participants each, we have decided to continue organizing this meeting. This year, we also decided to open the symposium to more neighboring countries besides Germany, Italy and Switzerland to give more colleagues the opportunity to be part of this meeting as a multiprofessional access platform with excellent international speakers and many training programs. This is one of the very few meetings worldwide offering such masterclasses.

The proven concept of the 2-day conference will be retained: The scientific sessions with lectures by world-renowned experts will take place on the first day (05.12.2025) at the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn. On the second day of the congress (December 6, 2025), we will offer several master classes/“hands-on” workshops on various topics, which will take place either in the congress hotel or at the Anatomical Institute of the Medical University of Vienna, as these are courses on human specimens.
To be in Vienna during the Advent season will be even more special due to our venue location next to Schönbrunn allowing visits at the beautiful Christmas market before or after the meeting.
Please be aware that most of the talks on the 1st day are in German (see program), but the workshops and masterclasses are mainly independent of language - based on their training/hands-on character and our international tutors.
Slots are limited on both days and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
