Az allergiás megbetegedések száma az elmúlt évtizedekben robbanásszerű emelkedést mutat.
A civilizáció fejlődésével számos új immunválaszt befolyásoló szennyező és allergizáló anyag került környezetünkbe .Az atópiás és allergiás immunreakciók genetikai diszpoziciója mellett napi érintkezésbe kerülünk olyan ,korábban csak elvétve alkalmazott kémiai vegyületekkel ,melyek napjainkra már a leggyakoribb allergénekké váltak. A globalis környezetszennyeződés nem csak a human ,hanem a növényi biológiai folyamatokra is hat ,befolyásolva azok immunrendszerre ható tulajdonságait is.
Az allergiás megbetegedések a gazdaságilag fejlett országok lakosságának közel egyharmadát érintik, hazai felmérések szerint az allergiás prediszpozició a lakosság közel 40%-ban kimutatható.
A részben környezeti ártalom eredményeként jelentkező allergia mára multidiszciplinaris betegséggé vált. Az allergiás kórképekben szenvedő betegek, az egyes szakmák alapismereteinek bővítésével, egyazon szakterületen belül kezelhetők magas szinten, melyhez természetesen elengedhetetlen más szakmák allergológusainak kollaborációja.
A változatos tünetekkel jelentkező allergiás betegek első kezelője többnyire az alapellátás szakorvosa, aki a beteg acut ellátását, továbbá a diagnosztikai vizsgálatok elindítására a szükséges szakorvoshoz történő irányítást végzi .Ezt tartottuk szem előtt , továbbképző tanfolyamunk programjának összeállításában ,amikor az allergiás kórképekkel napi betegellátásban foglalkozó , hazai és nemzetközi viszonylatban elismert szakemberek ,egyetemi oktatók gyakorlati tapasztalatait adjuk közre. A változatos klinikai tünetek bemutatása mellett a diagnózis felállításához szükséges alapismeretek és az interdiszciplinaris kapcsolódásokat ismertetjük.
Az előadók az uniformizált protokollokat meghaladó gyakorlati tapasztalati tudása az alapellátásban dolgozó kollégáknak betegeik kezeléséhez bizonnyal nagy segítséget nyújt.

| Dear EAMS Council Members, We would like to draw your attention to one of the highlights in 2017 with regard to airway management: the 4th European Airway Management Congress in Berlin from OCT 5-7. Our society has built a very informative and innovative program with many top events and possibilities to share our thoughts and to develop ideas. The program will include (but is not limited to): • Very interesting topics presented by excellent international well respected lectures including keynote lectures from our partner societies SAM and DAS, e.g. speakers like Carin Hagberg – Houston TX, Anil Patil - London, Dietmar Enk – Maastricht , Robert Greif - Bern, Johannes Huitink – Amsterdam, Nick Chrimes – Melbourne, Sheila Myatra - Mumbai and many more • Breaking News Lectures, which allows us to integrate the latest development in the congress program • Innovative Learning Concepts and new Educational Features • Pro-Con Sessions • New Guidelines presentation • Best oral abstract presentations, poster rounds & prize giving (includes selected poster publication) • Hands-On Workshops with many airway skill stations • More than 20 mini-workshop and expert-led round table discussions with exciting topics • A voluntary mentee program for all new EAMS members to introduce them to our society • and many social events during the congress As being the EAMS council member of your country it is a pleasure for us to invite you to this major airway management event. Due to the financial restriction we can only offer you free entrance to the congress, but you need to take care of your own travel & hotel expenses. We will have an official EAMS council meeting on Thursday evening, where many issues have to be addressed and discussed including the new societies bylaws, which will be sent to you in June, three month prior to the congress. One of the major goals of this congress is to promote our society and share knowledge and experience with our European colleuges. The 13th Dresden Symposium on Autoantibodies taking place from September 27 to September 30, 2017. The aim of the symposium is to bring together clinicians and scientists specialising in "autoimmunology" to exchange academic information and to present and discuss the results of basic and applied research on autoantigens, autoantibodies and autoimmunity.
Additionally, we are delighted to host the 4th International Consensus on ANA Pattern (ICAP) Workshop and the 4th International Autoantibody Standardization (IAS) Workshop on September 26, 2017 as a continuation of the standardization workshops at the IWAA in Kyoto, 2016. In Dresden you will find the best conditions and modern equipment for successful presentations and interesting discussions. We expect 400 international participants.
