| MEGHÍVÓ XVIII. Magyar Podiátriai és Lábsebészeti Vándorgyűlés Lábelváltozások új kezelési módszerei, work- shop és szeminárium Kecskemét, Granada Konferencia Wellness és Sport Hotel**** 2014. november 28-29. Kedves Kollegina/Kolléga! Kecskemét gyakorlatilag az ország közepe, így földrajzilag is a hazai találkozások helyszíne. Ezért is jelentős és fontos a lábsebészet iránt egyre nagyobb számban érdeklődők számára, hogy a XVIII. Vándorgyűlésünket, 2014. november 28-29-én, Dr. Gera László traumatológus osztályvezető főorvos és munkatársai szervezik, a Bács-Kiskun Megyei kórház és főigazgatója: Dr. Svébis Mihály c. egyetemi docens támogatásával. A korszerű lábsebészet további előnye, hogy az egy napos és ambuláns sebészet keretein belül is végezhető, műszerigénye csekély. A kongresszus szakmai programjába igyekeztünk mindenkit érdeklő általános témákon kívül a ritkábban előforduló és határterületeket is érintő témaköröket is bevonni és számos meghívott külföldi előadó révén még eredményesebbé tenni a tudományos tartalmat. Továbbra is várjuk a lábbal foglalkozó szakemberek, podiáterek, gyógytornászok, gyógy-pedikűrösök, diabetesz szakápolók, védőnők jelentkezését is. Vándorgyűléseink hagyományos része a péntek délelőtti - eddig igen sikeres - társasági program, erre Kecskemét városa nagy választékot kínál, melyre várjuk a kísérőket is. (A kongresszus helyszíne és szálloda választásában - ugyancsak hagyományos már, - hogy a kísérők, családok és gyermekek számára legyen lehetőség wellness használatára és az ott tartózkodás kedvezményes hosszabbítására.) Az esti programjaink a jókedv és a kikapcsolódás mellett az oldott hangulatú, baráti beszélgetések helyszíne is. Reméljük, hogy erre "a találkozásra" is mint magas színvonalú kongresszusra, work shop-ra, emlékezhetünk később. Jöjjenek el, gyertek el minél többen, hogy egymástól tanulhassunk és a tudományos rendezvény vitái mellett jól érezhessük magunkat Kecskeméten. TREAT-NMD’s 8th International conference on translational medicine in inherited neuromuscular diseases runs from February 6th to 8th, 2025, in Dubai, with a key objective of sharing progress in translational medicine and plan for future therapies.
As part of the conference, we will be hosting a poster exhibition and would like to invite academics, researchers, patient organisations, advocates, industry, government agencies, and healthcare professionals to submit a poster abstract that will be displayed as part of the exhibition.
This is a prime opportunity to highlight the great work happening throughout the neuromuscular and rare disease community, as well as helping contribute to global advancements in healthcare.
Why Submit an Abstract?
Submitting an abstract and having it accepted for presentation at the conference offers you numerous advantages, including:
- Showcasing your achievements – present your research, projects, or initiatives to an international audience of colleagues, experts, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrating effective strategies – share your successful ideas, methodologies, and interventions that have proven effective in improving healthcare for rare neuromuscular conditions that can be adapted by others.

What Are We Looking For?
This year’s poster topic is ‘Networking and Collaboration’ so we welcome abstract submissions centred on:
- Collaborative projects that highlight initiatives that facilitate the enhancement of healthcare for rare neuromuscular conditions through cooperation and partnership.
- Partnership working that shows how your organisation has collaborated with TREAT-NMD to benefit the global neuromuscular community.
- Utilisation of TREAT-NMD resources to advance research, clinical care, or patient advocacy efforts.
Submission Guidelines:
- Abstracts should be concise and informative, clearly outlining the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of your work.
- Submissions must align with the themes and focus areas of the TREAT-NMD 2025 Conference.
- Abstracts should adhere to the specified format and guidelines provided on the conference website.
Deadline for Submissions:
The deadline for abstract submissions is 18th October 2024. Please ensure submissions are completed well in advance to allow for proper review and consideration. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out on 8th November 2024 after review by the Programme Committee.
