Patológiai Intézet A Semmelweis Egyetem Ortopédiai Klinikájának szervezésében, az Arthrex támogatásával idén is megszervezésre kerül az artroszkópos váll cadaver kurzus, valamint idén először két újabb tanfolyamot is hirdetünk: egy haladó műtétechnikai cadaver kurzust feltárásos vállműtétekről és egy gyógytornász kurzus vállbetegségekről, cadaver demonstrációval.

The Congress program will reflect current trends in the evolution of pathophysiology and biological science in general, while further enlarging the scope of our meeting to cover progress from Genomics to Systems Biology, integrating both our genetic make-up and environmental exposures resulting in shared and distinct pathophysiological pathways. We also plan to present novel therapeutic targets based on this new knowledge, future tools in prevention and optimized therapy based on predictive genomics.

Due to the demographic shift with an increasing number of elderly in the European population with increased life expectancy, fractures in the elderly constitute the major patient volume in the orthopaedic departments.
