Alapszabály módosítási javaslat:
1.) Az egységes szerkezetű alapszabály V. pontjának 8.oldal, nyolcadik francia bekezdése
"Titkos szavazással megválasztja 4 évre szólóan a Társaság vezetőségét (mely 20 tagból és 4 póttagból áll)"
az alábbiak szerint változik:
"Titkos szavazással megválasztja 4 évre szólóan a Társaság vezetőségét (mely 20 választott tagból, a mindenkori örökös tiszteletbeli elnökökből és 4 póttagból áll)................"
2. Az egységes szerkezetű alapszabály IX. pontjának 15.oldal, Jegyző rész, első francia bekezdése az alábbiak szerint változik:
"A jegyzőt a vezetőség választja tagjai sorából" -ból ki kell venni a "tagjai soraiból" kitételt.

The International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine is now accepting abstract submission for the 7th Biennial ISAKOS Congress to be held in Osaka, Japan on April 5-9, 2009.
Anticipated content for the 2009 ISAKOS Congress includes scientific presentations, discussions and debates, symposia, live surgical demonstrations, poster presentations, technical exhibits, instructional course lectures, lunch-time hands on workshops, and a Social Program that includes both a spouse program and welcome reception.
Abstracts must be submitted before 11:59pm on March 1, 2008.

The scientific program of Transatlantic Innovations has a forward-looking focus on the latest research and breakthrough technology in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body. The Nice 2009 congress will honor two great physicians, both from the USA, who have contributed immensely to research and care of patients with diabetes and CVD. Prof. Jesse Roth - who has introduced the direct study of cell surface receptors and their vital role in transforming hormonal signals to intracellular events. Jesse was a mentor to a great generation of leading diabetes investigators worldwide. Prof. Scott Grundy - a great investigator of the metabolic basis for CVD risk, and a world leader in defining and putting the metabolic syndrome at the center of CVD and diabetes risk.
