| Első alkalommal kerül megrendezésre az INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM – OBSTETRIC ANESTHESIA – EFFECT ON MOTHER AND NEWBORN nemzetközi összejövetel. A háromnapos rendezvényen számos neves nemzetközi meghívott előadó vesz részt. A symposiumra nemcsak aneszteziológusokat, neonatológusokat, szülészeket, hanem szülésznőket, neonatológus és aneszteziológus asszisztenseket is várunk résztvevőként és előadóként. A kongresszus olyan témákat ölel fel, olyan területek legújabb aspektusait tárgyalja, amelyek a szülészeti aneszteziológiával, perinatológiával, neonatológiával és szülészettel foglalkozók érdeklődésre is számot tarthat. Örömünkre szolgál, hogy ezt a neves rendezvényt Budapesten szervezhetjük. A Duna két oldalán elterülő város számos látnivalót biztosít a kongresszusi résztvevők számára. The EFIS President’s Symposium is designed to present the research area of the current EFIS president. For this year's symposium, René van Lier invited Donna Farber, Percy Knolle and Klaas van Gisbergen to talk about "T cell immunity in the front line".

The Joint Symposia aim to enhance and strengthen the cooperation between the members of the EFIS and other European and International societies.

Travel Grants
The European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), together with its Official Journal, the European Journal of Immunology (EJI), and thanks to an extraordinary contribution from the Fondation ACTERIA, will be awarding 250 travel grants at the value of EUR 600 for young post-docs and PhD-students (or equivalent) under 35 years of age requesting financial support to attend the ECI 2018.
Further travel grants are offered by the NVVI, the AAI and the IUIS.
