I would like to invite you to the 2^nd VERTIGYŐR congress, which will take place on 4-5^th November 2019 in Győr, Hungary. It is a great pleasure to announce it as an international congress for the first time.

The participants of this event can update their knowledge with new informations on the physiological function of the vestibular system. Furthermore, they can also hear about long forgotten works of important vestibular researchers.We place a special emphasis on the emergency care of dizziness. Bedside otoneurological examination methods with and without equipment and the medical, surgical and the physiotherapy of dizziness will all be important features of our congress.

This event will be held in the historical city centre of Győr, (located between Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna) where in the labyrinth of the small streets not only cultural but culinary experiences will await the attendees.

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to an exceptional aortic meeting with a focus on aortic arch – the Lugano 2019 AORTIC Summit – in an entirely new format to intensify knowledge upon aortic pathology and its various treatment modalities being available today. This summit is a practical and logical consequence of the consensus paper on the Aortic Arch, which was a common achievement by both scientific societies ESVS and EACTS.

Understanding the disease forms the basis, being familiar with the treatment options available enlarges the armamentarium and being able to implement them into clinical practice gives the freedom and the flexibility to offer sustainable personalized solutions to treat patients with acute and chronic thoracic aortic pathology in an aortic team.

While it is the mission of the Aortic Association to reduce the burden of aortic disease by education, training and advancing knowledge taking the entire organ aorta into account, we will focus on acute and chronic thoracic aortic pathology involving the aortic arch.

During this course, you will be taken on a journey through the aortic arch and its major branches sharing expertise with a world-renown faculty and you will have the opportunity to practice during numerous workshops addressing both open surgery and endovascular therapy.

Every three years, the SPIN Congress gathers some 1,500 delegates from around 90 countries. It is the major international meeting focused on the patient management and therapeutic strategies with a special emphasis on the daily medical practice. SPIN 2022 will offer a holistic view of the inflammatory skin diseases, particularly focused on psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, alopecia, and hidradenitis suppurativa; including teaching, sharing, and understanding of the different scenarios around the world, keeping in mind the perspective of the patients. We are pleased to inform you that the 24th WorldLab Congress in Seoul will be held jointly with the 16th APFCB (Asia-Pacific Federation of Clinical Biochemistry) Congress in June 2022.

The IFCC and APFCB have agreed that a joint conference would be more attractive and beneficial for both conference delegates and corporate sponsors and will ensure wider participation from laboratory professionals and industry partners across Asia-Pacific and around the world.

The host Society, the Korean Society for Clinical Chemistry (KSCC) has also very graciously agreed to host the joint WorldLab-APFCB Congress in Seoul which has also been approved by the IFCC and APFCB Executive Boards.

The Joint WorldLab-APFCB Congress will be held on 26th -30th June 2022 in Seoul at the Coex Convention and Exhibition Center.

We welcome all IFCC national societies and corporate member to actively participate in this major and exciting event next year.
