The EFIS President’s Symposium is designed to present the research area of the current EFIS president. For this year's symposium, René van Lier invited Donna Farber, Percy Knolle and Klaas van Gisbergen to talk about "T cell immunity in the front line".

Hands-on Workshops
Check out this year's unique Hands-on Workshops on "Dynamic Modelling" and "Analyzing Big Data". Due to the very limited number of available spaces per workshop we recommend to register as early as possible. Tickets can be purchased as an add-on during the regular conference registration.
Reduced registration fees for
Technicians, Research Nurses and FAIS-members
If you are working as a technician or research nurse in any laboratory/institute or are a member of any national member society of FAIS (Federation of African Immunological Societies) you can benefit from reduced registration fees.
Note: Register quickly as the reduced fees will only apply to the first 250 registrations!
Travel Grants
The European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), together with its Official Journal, the European Journal of Immunology (EJI), and thanks to an extraordinary contribution from the Fondation ACTERIA, will be awarding 250 travel grants at the value of EUR 600 for young post-docs and PhD-students (or equivalent) under 35 years of age requesting financial support to attend the ECI 2018.
Further travel grants are offered by the NVVI, the AAI and the IUIS.

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organising Committee and The Skin Cancer Foundation, I wish to extend an invitation to you and your networks to participate in the 17th World Congress on Cancers of the Skin 2018®, to be held in Sydney at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 15 – 18 August 2018.
The “World Congress on Cancers of the Skin” has become a major interdisciplinary and influential Congress for clinicians and basic scientists working in the challenging fields of Melanoma and Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer. This exciting Congress endeavours to bring over 1,000 attendees together from across the world.
It is our pleasure to host the 2018 Congress in the newly revamped International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia. We feel privileged and honoured that many of the world’s leading experts in the field will actively participate and inspire attendees.
As the organisers of this Congress we invite you to share with us days of scientific communication in the iconic city of Sydney, Australia.
