A Magyar Orvostársaságok és Egyesületek Szövetségének 2008. évi PRO MEDICINA Kongresszusa a Nemzeti Népegészségügyi Programok Kongresszusa lesz, amely 2008. április 10-11. között kerül megrendezésre.
A négy Nemzeti Program Programtanácsának Elnökeivel egyeztetve a nemzeti Programokhoz kapcsolódó szakmai-tudományos témakörökben áttekintően szeretnénk bemutatni a Szív és Érrendszeri, a Rákellenes, a Csecsemő és Gyermekgyógyászati, a Sürgősségi Ellátás és a Népegészségügyi Program tevékenységét és terveit.
Kapcsolódva minden határterületi tudományághoz, a Dohányzás Ellenes
Év és az Elhízás Elleni Év, valamint a Vese és a Hypertonia Világnapjának rendezvényei is helyet kapnak a Kongresszuson.
A kétnapos Kongresszuson külön szekcióban kerül sor a Nemzeti Programok és a kapcsolódó szakmai tudományos tevékenységek bemutatására, valamint a csatlakozó tudományterületi összefoglalókra. Minden esetben a határterületi tudományok témaköre az adott Nemzeti Program keretén belül kerül előadásra, így pl. a rehabilitáció, a geriátria kérdései az összes programnál megjelennek.
A Nemzeti Fejlesztési Terv, az Új Magyarország Program és a Nemzeti Egészségügyi Programok közötti kapcsolatról, egymásra épüléséről, valamint az egészségügy átalakulásával kapcsolatos kérdésekről fórumot rendezünk.
