A továbbképző tanfolyam az Egészséges Öregedés Tudományos Egyesület (EÖTE) szervezésében kerül megrendezésre.
Az EÖTE-t, mint közhasznú szervezetet a Fővárosi Bíróság 2006. február 6.- án vette nyilvántartásba. Az Egyesület arra törekszik, hogy tudományos megalapozottsággal, vizsgálja, értékelje, megismerje, megismertesse, kutassa az öregedés folyamatait és az élet aktív szakaszának meghosszabbítását segítse. A biológia, a viselkedéstudomány, társadalmi változások területén megmutatkozó egyre bővülő ismeretek megkérdőjelezik azokat a sztereotípiákat, melyek az öregedéssel járó folyamatok megváltoztathatatlanságáról szólnak.
Az Egyesület az egészséges öregedés koncepcióját kívánja támogatni.
