Tisztelettel meghívjuk Önt és munkatársait a Magyar Sebkezelő Társaság (www.mskt.hu) XVIII. Kongresszusára.

A szervezőmunkába szeretnénk bevonni a társtudományok szakmai társaságait, valamint a korszerű kötöző anyagokat és gyógyászati segédeszközöket (stb.) gyártó- és forgalmazó cégeket is.
Meggyőződésünk, hogy a tudományos program és a kötetlen eszmecserék alkalmat adnak nemcsak a szakmai tudás elmélyítésére, mások tapasztalatainak megismerésére, hanem az emberi, baráti kapcsolatok erősítésére is.

A háromnapos rendezvényen számos neves nemzetközi meghívott előadó vesz részt. A symposiumra nemcsak aneszteziológusokat, neonatológusokat, szülészeket, hanem szülésznőket, neonatológus és aneszteziológus asszisztenseket is várunk résztvevőként és előadóként. We have an exciting and varied programme lined up this year. Hear what experts will be sharing, including:
• Fascinating session on Airway management in special circumstances: ‘Airways at the limits of life’ Dr Kevin Fong (London) and ‘Bombs bayonets and bicycles – trauma and the airway’ Dr Simon Mercer (Liverpool)
• Dr Simon Bricker (Chester) speaking on ‘The unique problems of the obstetric airway: real or imagined?’
• Launch of new ITU guidelines - covering all 4 areas: trauma, obstetric, ITU and extremes of life
• Exciting Debates on: ‘Advanced airway management should be a specialist training module’, and ‘Tried and tested rather than novelty gadgets - a conventional laryngoscope is the weapon of choice for routine first attempt intubation’
Workshops - Wednesday 22 November 2017
Alongside the scientific programme we are offering a ‘hands on’ workshop day providing delegates the opportunity to rotate around 8 stations throughout the day.
Workstations will include:
• Fibreoptic Intubation (FOI) handling skills/Airway simulation
• Awake FOI/preparation
• Supraglottic Airway Devices (SAD) – including FOI via SAD (Plan B)
• Videolaryngoscopy (Plan A)
• Virtual Endoscopy
• Scalpel cricothyroidotomy (Plan D)
• Ultrasound in airway management
• Paediatric airway management.
