A Gottsegen György Országos Kardiológiai Intézet a Magyar Gyermekorvosok Társasága és a Miniszterelnökség Nemzetpolitikai Államtitkársága támogatásával továbbképző kurzust hirdet határon túli, magyarul beszélő egészségügyi szakemberek számára.
(A rendezvényen lehetőség van hazai kollégák részvételére is.)

A Gottsegen György Országos Kardiológiai Intézet Gyermekszív Központja a hazai gyermekkardiológia és gyermekszívsebészeti ellátás központja, a gyermekkori szívsebészeti műtétek több, mint 90%-át, a katéterterápiás beavatkozások 100%-át végzi. Sok esetben segítséget nyújt határon túli magyar gyermekek ellátásában, ezt a tevékenységét jelentősen erősíteni szeretné. Ehhez a célhoz kapcsolódik a határon túli gyermekorvosok, gyermekkardiológusok gyermekkardiológiai továbbképzése is.
Elsősorban azokat a szomszédos országokban (Románia, Szerbia, Ukrajna, kisebb mértékben Szlovákia) dolgozó kollégákat szeretnénk meghívni, ahol a gyermekszívsebészeti (és gyermekkardiológiai) ellátás további megerősítésre szorul és személyes kapcsolatok kialakításával ezt elő tudjuk segíteni.
A kurzus tartalma:
A kurzus első felében, másfél nap alatt a gyermekkardiológiai és szívsebészeti ellátás széles spektrumáról ad áttekintést. A betegségcsoportok ismertetése mellett a kezelési megoldásokra, a műtétek optimális idejére, az alternatív katéterterápiás megoldásokra koncentrálunk Szó lesz a ritmuszavarok korszerű kezeléséről, a nagy problémát jelentő pulmonalis hypertoniás gyermekek ellátásáról, illetve a keringési elégtelenség kezeléséről. Bemutatjuk a gyermekszív transzplantációs programunkat, annak eredményeit is. A kurzus során lehetőség lesz későbbi akár kihelyezett konzultációk megbeszélésére, hosszútávú együttműködés első lépcsőinek kialakítására.
Külön öröm részünkre, hogy a 1.5 napos gyermekkardiológiai után további egy napos felnőtt kongenitális szimpózium kapcsolódik a rendezvényhez, melynek során a felnőttkorba átkerült, veleszületett szívfejlődési rendellenességgel gondozott gyermekek további sorsáról kapunk részletes információt. A tervezett továbbképzés ezen második fele is támogatott.

Minimally Invasive Thyroid Treatments (MITT) are increasingly applied in the clinical practice all over Europe for the treatment for benign and malignant thyroid diseases.
The MITT group has been founded in 2018 in Italy, to promote multidisciplinary partnership among physicians with different expertise who share the interest in MITT and to improve the clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic management of benign and malignant thyroid and parathyroid glands diseases.
During the 2024 MITT meeting, the present guidelines on both benign and malignant thyroid disease management will be presented, and the most widely used techniques for ablation will be presented by renowned experts in the field. Also, the most updated evidence on the application of MITT in benign thyroid nodules, autonomously functioning thyroid nodules, and malignant tumours will be illustrated.
Furthermore, a series of real-life clinical cases will be presented and discussed between the expert panel and the participants.
During the second day, the organization of a thyroid ablation clinical practice will be discussed, with particular focus on preoperative and postoperative patients’ management, possible type of anaesthesia, with the discussion of a video-recorded treatment.
In the end, a series of “hot topics” on minimally invasive treatments of the thyroid will be presented and discussed with the participants, including treatment of parathyroid adenomas, complications of MITT and their management, and the problem of nodule regrowth.
Hands-on workshops will also be available at the end of the meeting for those who will want to try the different available technologies and techniques on dedicated phantoms.
