Helyszín: 7624 Pécs, Kaptár Dél-dunántúli Regionális Könyvtár és Tudásközpont A rendezvény Web oldala: http://www.pcongress.hu/Congress/index/12 Tudományos témáink a szívsebészet egy-egy fontos, lényeges témakörét ölelik fel, amelyek talán új szakmai ismeretekkel, érdekességekkel is szolgálhatnak a résztvevőknek. Szándékunk szerint a hagyományoknak megfelelően összefoglalót kívánunk adni a hazai szívsebészeti centrumok szakmai és tudományos eredményeiről, kiemelten és hangsúlyozottan szeretnénk áttekintést nyújtani a szívsebészeti anesztézia legújabb eredményeiről, hiszen az egyre több társbetegségekkel rendelkező betegek perioperatív (intenzív) kezelése igen nagy jelentőséggel bír. Újdonságként szeretnénk bevezetni a szívsebészet határterületi kérdéseit a mellkas sebészet és érsebészet vonatkozásában. A kongresszuson betekintést szeretnénk nyújtani a technikáiba, eredményeibe, rangos, nemzetközileg is elismert előadók tolmácsolásában. Külön figyelmet kívánunk szentelni az invazív kardiológia jelentős fejlődéséből adódó, az utóbbi években a szívsebészetnek egyre nagyobb kihívást jelentő beavatkozásainak. A kongresszus tudományos előadásainak tartalmát is ezek a témakörök határoznák meg, felölelve a szívsebészet teljes vertikumát.
