Kedves Kollégák!
Különleges alkalom, hogy vendéglátói lehetünk a társaság 35. konferenciájának. Ez az első nemzetközi szociálpediátriai társaság, mely idén lesz 40 éves http://www.issop.org/).
A szociálpediátria, mely a gyermek egészségét holisztikus szemlélettel a család, a környezet, a közösség, valamint a társadalmi helyzet értékelésével közelíti meg, napjaink egyik legfőbb kihívására, a menekültválságra is reagálni kíván. A háború elől menekülő családok és gyermekek százezreit sújtó humanitárius krízisre a gyermekgyógyászok majd minden országban elsőként reagáltak. Ezt a hazai tapasztalatok is alátámasztják. Ott voltunk a pályaudvarokon, az átmeneti segélyhelyeken, a táborokban, a határátkelő pontoknál, ellátjuk a már hazánkban tartózkodó menekült gyermekeket a kórházakban, rendelőkben.
Így az ISSOP ez évi konferenciájának fő témája a menekült gyermekek ügye:
„Children on the Move: rights, health and well-being”
Kiemelt témák:
• a menekült gyermekek egészségi szükségletei, prevenció, korai intervenció, az elszenvedett bántalmak hatása
• a gyermekgyógyászok különleges feladatai, a menekült gyermekek jogainak érvényesítése ellátásuk során
• a menekült gyermekek érdekképviselete
• interszektorális együttműködés kezdeményezése, a jelenlegi helyzet javítását célzó stratégia kialakítása
Reméljük, hogy a konferencia ráirányítja a hazai gyermekgyógyászok figyelmét a szociálpediátria fontosságára és most kiemelten a humanitárius krízis által sújtott gyermekek szükségleteire.
Reméljük, hogy a szakmai és társasági programok erősíteni fogják a hazai és külföldi kollégák közötti szakmai és emberi kapcsolatokat is.
