A magyarországi Érszűkület Nap az európai „PAD and Vascular European Days” kezdeményezés magyarországi eseményeként a Magyar Angiológiai és Érsebészeti Társaság szervezésében valósul meg.
A szervezők 2014. március 20-án 11 és 17 óra között, 7 helyszínen, egész napos orvosi tanácsadással, boka/kar index méréssel és pulzus önvizsgálat oktatással várják az érdeklődőket.
A perifériás érbetegség, közismert nevén az érszűkület, az általános érelmeszesedés egyik megjelenési formája, Magyarországon mintegy 400 ezer embert érint. Felismerését nehezíti, hogy sokáig tünetmentes maradhat. A romló alsóvégtagi keringés leggyakoribb, már érezhető tünete a járáskor a vádliban vagy a combban fellépő görcs, fáradtság- vagy nehézségérzet, fájdalom, ami pihenéskor rövid idő alatt megszűnik. Ilyenkor azonban az erek károsodása már jelentős.
Fokozottan veszélyeztetettek, akik dohányoznak, magas a koleszterinszintjük, cukor- vagy magasvérnyomás-betegségben szenvednek vagy családjukban előfordult érszűkület.
A perifériás érbetegség több szempontból is veszélyes, késői felismerése akár a végtag amputációjához is vezethet. Mindazonáltal még nagyobb veszélyt jelent az, hogy a normál, nem érbeteg társaikhoz hasonlítva, az érszűkületes betegeknek kétszer nagyobb az esélye a szívinfarktus vagy szélütés bekövetkezésére. Felismerés és kezelés nélkül az érszűkületes betegek közel egyharmada 5 éven belül meghal!
Budapesten és hat megyeszékhelyen a helyi plazák adnak otthont az Érszűkület Napi eseménynek, amelynek során szakemberek adnak tájékoztatást a perifériás érbetegség kialakulásáról, megelőzéséről, valamint felmérik az erek állapotát is. Az érdeklődőknek bemutatják és megtanítják, hogy milyen módszerrel tudják saját magukon, otthon is elvégezni a pulzus vizsgálatát a csuklónál és a lábukon is, mivel e módszer segíthet önállóan is felismerni a problémát.
Az eseményre 2014. március 20.-án 11-17 óra között az alábbi helyszíneken kerül sor:

- Debrecen – Debrecen Plaza
- Szombathely – Savaria Plaza

We want to get your attention to the Austrian Symposium on Dialysis Access and Central Venous Catheters which will take place for the 5th time in Vienna 5th-6th of December 2025.
It is an interdisciplinary, multiprofessional meeting where all dialysis-relevant stakeholders (nephrology, shunt surgery, dialysis care, radiology, patients, industry) meet. It is therefore an unprecedented opportunity to get to know state of the art treatment/diagnostic methods as well as innovations on this field.
After all 4 previous symposia were very well received with over 200 participants each, we have decided to continue organizing this meeting. This year, we also decided to open the symposium to more neighboring countries besides Germany, Italy and Switzerland to give more colleagues the opportunity to be part of this meeting as a multiprofessional access platform with excellent international speakers and many training programs. This is one of the very few meetings worldwide offering such masterclasses.

The proven concept of the 2-day conference will be retained: The scientific sessions with lectures by world-renowned experts will take place on the first day (05.12.2025) at the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn. On the second day of the congress (December 6, 2025), we will offer several master classes/“hands-on” workshops on various topics, which will take place either in the congress hotel or at the Anatomical Institute of the Medical University of Vienna, as these are courses on human specimens.
To be in Vienna during the Advent season will be even more special due to our venue location next to Schönbrunn allowing visits at the beautiful Christmas market before or after the meeting.
Please be aware that most of the talks on the 1st day are in German (see program), but the workshops and masterclasses are mainly independent of language - based on their training/hands-on character and our international tutors.
Slots are limited on both days and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
