Tisztelt Kolléganők, Kollégák, Barátaim!
A „Képalkotó Diagnosztika a Kardiológiában”, a Magyar Kardiológusok Társasága Echocardiographiás Munkacsoportja és a Vaszary Kolos Kórház Belgyógyászat Kardiológia közös tudományos rendezvénye mind szakmai, mind kulturális szempontból az elmúlt hét évben sikeres volt. Terveink szerint hagyományt teremtettünk Esztergomban a kardiológia ezen legdinamikusabban fejlődő vizsgáló módszereinek évi rendszeres áttekintésével, hiszen nyolcadik alkalommal kerül megrendezésre az akkreditált, pontszerző, országos, tudományos program.
A koszorúér betegség, a szívizombetegségek, a billentyű betegségek, a szívelégtelenség, a sürgősségi képalkotás, valamint nem kardiológiai betegségekben a kardiológus szerepének megtárgyalása a múlt évi „Képalkotás újraosztva: Új lapok, régi alapok” című rendezvény után ebben az évben a tudományos program alcíme: „HA JOBB NINCS” – FÓKUSZBAN A JOBB SZÍVFÉL. Társrendező idén a Magyar Kardiológusok Társasága Kardiopulmonális Munkacsoport.
A szakmai programot ebben az évben is úgy állítottuk össze, hogy az elhangzó előadások a mindennapi orvosi gyakorlatban nyújtsanak segítséget. A korábbi rendezvények gyakorlata szerint a tudományos előadások megtartására a gyógyító szakmák jeles képviselőit, vezető kardiológusokat és képalkotó diagnosztikai szakembereket kértünk fel.
A helyszín változatlanul az impozáns és minden szempontból maximális adottságú Szent Adalbert Központ.
Az első napon délben büféasztalhoz várjuk a kedves résztvevőket, este hagyomány szerint gálavacsorát tervezünk a történelmi Balassa Pincében.
A második napon a konferencia tudományos részét követően – a korábbi években is nagy érdeklődéssel kísért – kulturális programot ajánlunk vendégeinknek.
Rendhagyóan Szelényi Károly Magyar Örökség díjas fotóművész tart vezetést tárlatán a Keresztény Múzeumban.

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the third annual International Graduate Student Immunology Conference (IGSIC). IGSIC 2014 will be hosted at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, USA on September 11-13, 2014.
IGSIC provides an annual venue for immunology graduate students to present their research and develop long lasting professional relationships with their peers in immunology, which is critical for establishing future collaborations.
Throughout the conference series, participants will attend seminars from leading immunologists who conduct cutting-edge research in different sub-disciplines of immunology. To our knowledge, this conference is the only meeting of its kind -- a student-organized, student-focused event. In order to promote attendance by graduate students worldwide, the meeting fees are kept low (30 USD).
The conference includes:
- Oral and poster presentations presented by the attendees
- Keynote seminar series by faculty members from the hosting institution
- One-on-one meetings with UT Southwestern Immunology

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure to invite you to the 15th Congress of ISPD, which will be held in Madrid, Spain, from September 7th to 10th, 2014.
During the past years the increasing number of participants confirmed that the field of peritoneal dialysis is flourishing and increasingly contributing to cutting edge research in nephrology. In particular ISPD as a society is growing and expanding. More young physicians and scientists are joining the community, bringing fresh enthusiasm and new ideas, from many parts of the world!
The 15th Congress of ISPD will be an excellent opportunity to realize the changes in the field and to envision new perspectives for basic and clinical research. The ground breaking translational program will draw together experts from all over the world and will encompass innovations in diagnosis, advances in clinical practice, novel therapeutic approaches, and new insights into cellular and animal models. In addition, specific educational sessions, covering a basic knowledge will be available to encourage the participation of ISPD junior members.
Spain and Portugal are European countries involved in the field of peritoneal dialysis and the Group of Peritoneal Studies from Madrid (IRSIN, REDinREN, Hospitals La Paz and La Princesa) and Hospital San Antonio, from Porto are two of the leading research groups in peritoneal pathophysiology and peritoneal function. Besides, the city of Madrid with its historical background and long-standing tradition is a cosmopolitan and stimulating place able to inspire and entertain scientists from around the world.
Thus, we are confident that the enchanted charm of our city will be a trend setter for the future of peritoneal dialysis!
