The conference will focus on the world wide epidemic of the Insulin Resistance Syndrome and its prevalence in special population groups, women, and children. The program will cover the various fields which are part of the Insulin Resistance Syndrome including cardiovascular disease, PCOS, sleep apnea, hypertension, dyslipidemia, glucose intolerance, and endothelial dysfunction and will look into the emerging field of insulin resistance in liver disease and the development of certain cancers.
