Kedves Kollégák!
Nagy örömmel tájékoztatjuk Önöket a hazánkban első alkalommal megrendezésre kerülő ISAPS továbbképzésről. Az International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery a plasztikai sebészet egyik legdinamikusabban fejlődő nemzetközi társasága, melynek egyik fő célja a plasztikai sebészek továbbképzése világszerte. Ennek a célnak az ISAPS magas színvonalú kurzusok szervezésével igyekszik eleget tenni. A soron következő, Debrecenben megrendezésre kerülő továbbképzés egy kiemelkedő nemzetközi előadói kört fog felvonultatni és kitűnő alkalmat biztosít a magyar kollégák számára, hogy testközelből – és nem utolsósorban egy külföldi ISAPS kurzus részvételéhez képest jóval kisebb anyagi ráfordítás mellett – mélyítsék el tudásukat nemzetközileg elismert előadókat hallgatva.
Az ISAPS kurzust megelőző napon, a Román Plasztikai Sebész Társasággal közösen rendezzük meg a IV. Nemzetközi Plasztikai Sebészeti Fórumot. Tekintettel arra, hogy az ISAPS képzés kizárólag esztétikai beavatkozásokra fókuszál, ezért a csütörtöki nap témája
elsősorban égés és rekonstrukció lesz, ugyanakkor örömmel helyt fogunk biztosítani a kollégák részéről beküldésre kerülő szabad előadásoknak esztétikai témakörben is.
A korábbi évek hagyományait követve a kongresszus mindháromnapjának hivatalos nyelve az angol.
Bízunk benne, hogy minél nagyobb számban találkozunk a Tisztelt Kollégákkal mind az ISAPS kurzuson, mind a közös magyar-román fórumon.

| 20th WPA Congress is going Virtual! |

Dear friends,
The Global situation is still very uncertain, and regulations are still changing unpredictably due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The greatest benefits of a WPA World Congress are its reputation for attracting world leaders in psychiatry from countries across the globe, and the unparalleled networking and relationship-building opportunities it provides. Thus, for the sake of adapting to the changing environment and ensuring the progress of our field, we cannot allow ourselves to postpone the congress any further. It is essential to WPA to ensure both the professional growth and the safety of the participants.
In light of that the WPA board has decided to transform the 20th WPA World Congress of Psychiatry into a fully virtual event.
By doing this, we are hoping to:
- give you the chance to participate in every valuable exchange of knowledge
- contribute to the field of psychiatry and mental health together
- preserve the values of the congress: collaboration, diversity, and connection
- reenact the WCP experience in the comfort and safety of your own home
- provide you with an enhanced scientific program
The virtual congress will take place on the same dates, between March 10-13, 2021. Virtual sessions will not only give you a chance for live interaction but will also be available on-demand up to 3 months after the congress. The WPA would like to thank all our participants and partners for their cooperation and understanding during this time. Please visit our FAQ page here where you will find answers to some of your more pressing questions including cancelation polity and what to expect from our virtual platform. Also, we would like to assure all our currently registered delegates who have paid the full rate, that we will refund the difference to the same payment method initially charged. If you wish to cancel your registration and receive a full refund, you will be able to do so by sending an email to reg_wcp20@kenes.com until Monday, November 2. Despite this difficult situation we at WPA are working hard to ensure that the 20th WPA World Congress of Psychiatry, ‘Psychiatry in a troubled world’ Virtual Congress remains a success. |

We are honored to have Dr. Ségolène Aymé, as our special guest speaker at this event. She is Emeritus Director of Research at the French Medical Research Council (INSERM) and the founder of Orphanet.
In 2008, Dr. Segolene Aymé co-authored a journal article entitled, Empowerment of patients: lessons from the rare diseases community. Reflecting on this essay, Dr. Aymé will speak about the power of patients and patient organizations with regards to the Rare Disease Community. She will share her unique perspective and talk about her important work with Orphanet and Expert centers.
