The 2nd International Congress on Cardiac Problems in Pregnancy (CPP 2012), which is due to take place from May 17-20, 2012 in Berlin, Germany.
Pregnancy often increases the risks of cardiovascular dysfunction, yet cardiac problems in pregnancy requires a multidisciplinary approach, precludes most common cardiac treatments and disqualifies many patients from inclusion in clinical trials. It is therefore imperative that professional health care specialists from around the world gather to share their personal knowledge and expertise regarding this sensitive area.
At this unique international congress, health care professionals from a diverse range of pregnancy and cardiac related specialties will facilitate the exchange and development of collaborative research on a wide spectrum of relevant topics. They will further discuss, adopt and upgrade recent guidelines for the management of cardiovascular conditions during pregnancy and in the postpartal period.

European School of Interventional Radiology
This course is designed for physicians at level 2-3 (intermediate) who wish to broaden their knowledge of tumour ablation.
The course will cover:
· Indications for RF, MW, thermal ablation and cryoablation
· The role of ablation and other treatments
· Imaging and ablation techniques for lung, liver, kidney and
bone tumours
· Less-usual indications
· Clinical management including post-procedural follow-up
Hands-on
Wherever possible, hands-on sessions in small groups will be provided on the second day of the course. The goal of these sessions will be to provide participants with practical experience of the manipulations and devices relevant to the course topic. Az alábbiakban csatolt levél a tizedik "New Frontiers in Basic Cardiovascular Research: France - New EU Members Meeting" című konferenciára vonatkozó felhívást (Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, 12th - 15th June) tartalmazza.
A rendezvény hagyományosan elsősorban a Visegrádi Országok és Franciaország kardiovaszkuláris kutatói számára biztosít limitált méretű (workshop jellegű) tudományos fórumot. A részvétel viszonylag szerény költségek mellett megvalósítható.
A minden két évben megrendezésre kerülő konferencia 2006-ban Debrecenben a Kardiológiai Intézet, Klinikai Fiziológiai Tanszékének szervezésében zajlott.
Saját korábbi tapasztalataim alapján is ajánlom a konferenciát a hazai kardiovaszkuláris kutatók figyelmébe és javaslom, hogy a fiatal kutatók minél nagyobb számban nyújtsanak be jelentkezést.
