On the conference there will be lectures and workshops. There will be different sections.
- Psychiatry and pediatric psychiatry and the environment. How can the position of psychiatry be strengthened in prevention? How can/should psychiatry co-operate with the psychologists, teachers, volunteers, police, churches, and other staff?
- Psychiatry: Depression, Anxiety and Suicide . Early intervention in schizophrenia for suicide prevention Section for psychiatrists, pediatric psychiatrists.
- Psychiatry: Schizphrenia and suicide
- Survivor organizations. Tasks and possibilities. How to help the survivors? How to help the parents, how to help the family? Possibilities of students and teachers?
- School violence and suicidology (Alienation, Revenge, Redemption) How can the teacher, the psychologist, the social worker, psychiatrist act to promote the health and well being of the pupil/student,) How can the experts and helpers co-operate for prevention. Parents – Teacher – Pupil/stu¬dent – Psychologists. Different levels – different interventions?
- Contemporary volunteers. How to train contemporary volunteers? How can children help other children?
- Internet: possibilities and hazards. Risk and possibilities. How do Internet help lines work? What is the difference between internet help lines and telephone help lines?
- Media: How can film and radio help? How to cre¬ate a useful spot for prevention? Does it really help?
How could media guidelines help? How can media workers be persuaded to follow the guidelines?
- National Prevention Programs: How to help? Who can help?
