Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committee, I would like to cordially invite you to the 4th Visegrad Plastic Surgery Congress, held in Budapest, from the 2nd-5th of October, 2025.  
The Visegrád Group, also known as the Visegrád Four or simply the V4, is a regional initiative, alliance, dating back to the 14th century, when the Visegrád Group chose Visegrád as the place of meeting for the 1335 Congress of Visegrád, held by the Bohemian (Czech), Polish and Hungarian rulers.
In more recent years, the castle town of Visegrád, based on it’s former historical role, was chosen for the first summit meeting between the leaders of Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Poland in 1991. The original 3 countries became 4 in 1993, with the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, when the Czech Republic and Slovakia became independent members of the alliance.  The group was created to implement changes and reforms required for full EU and NATO membership.  EU membership was acquired by all four members in May, 2004
Since then, the Visegrad Group has focused on various topics, most significantly on cultural cooperation.
The idea of extending the scope of cooperation of the Visegrád Group to the area of Plastic Surgery was conceived only a few years ago.  The historical and cultural ties provided a sound foundation to exchange experience, discuss new concepts, to learn from each other, as well as from renowned and recognized colleagues form around the world.
The biennial series of Visegrad Plastic Surgery Congresses have been successfully organized since 2019. The first one in Polonica, Poland in 2019, followed by the second in Bruno, Czech Republic in 2021, and the third in Demänovská Doline-Jasná, Slovakia in 2023.
It is now our privilege to organize the 4th congress this year.
The 2025 congress will be held in Budapest, with a very interesting and exciting scientific program.  The event will also give us the opportunity to visit the beautiful castle town of Visegrád.
We sincerely hope you can accept our invitation to attend the congress and hold your lecture.
