Tüdőt és mellkast érintő betegségekkel az intenzív betegellátásban, az anesztéziában és a sürgősségi ellátásban is gyakorta találkozhatunk. Ezek egy része, mint szövődmény, kísérőbetegség fordul elő, míg mások a kritikus állapot okai is lehetnek. A tüdő nem csak a gázcsere elengedhetetlen része, hanem, mint a legkisebb kapilláris átmérővel rendelkező szerv, az immunitás és immunreakciók, a trombotikus és keringési zavarok predilekciós szerve is. Bármilyen kis eltérés komplex patológiai folyamatokat indít meg. A tüdő funkcióját tehát nem lehet csak a gázcsere szempontjából önállóan értékelni, mindig a szervezet egyéb funkcióival együtt komplex módon kell vizsgálni. Bármilyen pulmonális eltérés visszaköszön a többi szervek funkciójában, és bármelyik szerv eltérése nyomon követhető a tüdő funkciójában.
Ezen szemlélet mentén kínál ez a 10 önálló modulból álló multidiszciplináris tanfolyam rendszerezett, célratörő elméleti, és Európában is egyedülálló szimulációs gyakorlati képzést bővített időben, melynek elvégzésével 50 továbbképzési pont szerezhető.
A tanfolyam a Semmelweis Egyetem Aneszteziológiai és Intenzív Terápiás Klinika valamint a Pulmonológiai Klinika szervezésében kerül megrendezésre Budapesten.
A tanfolyam orvosok részére akkreditált, de neminvazív lélegeztetést végző osztályokon, pulmonológián, intenzív osztályon, belgyógyászaton, sürgősségi osztályon dolgozó szakdolgozókat is szívesen látunk. Az egyes modulok külön-külön is elvégezhetők, a jelentkezők létszámának függvényében indítjuk őket.
