The prevalence rates of diagnosed ADHD amongst children and adolescents aged 4 to 17 is 9.65% of total population or 73.32 million worldwide (GBD, 2017). Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that can affect and create problems in inattention, disorganization, poor impulsive control behaviours, and be overly active. 

The symptoms of ADHD begin in childhood and it can continue  through adolescence and adulthood. Although ADHD cannot be cured, it can be successfully managed and some symptoms might improve as the child ages. This seminar provides practical information about ADHD for parents, academians, researchers, and even common people who have no knowledge about this neurobehavioral disorder.
