Letter from the EHS President
Dear Member of EHS, dear Colleague,It is a great honour for me to be the President of our society. First of all, welcome to our new members coming from various countries. Our Society is in a phase of growth, and I am eager to support this process. I welcome all members’ active participation in this further development of our Society. Our Past President Luigi Zagra organised last year our 10th congress in Milan, which was a truly successful scientific event. We owe thanks to Martin Krismer, who has been our Secretary General for many years. He has done a long-term and very important job for the Society. We also welcome the new Secretary General Eleftherios Tsiridis from Greece. Finally, my thanks go to Treasurer Theofilos Karachalios, for all the work he does for our finances. Our President Elect is Werner Siebert from Germany, already starting to plan our meeting 2016 in Germany. We also have a new secretary, Mrs Samantha Stokes, who is located in Thessaloniki and can be reached at

The ExCom has been very busy lately. New committees have been established and are active now (Scientific, Educational, Website and Historical).EHS experts have broadened our activity by holding speeches both at national European orthopaedic congresses and at other major international congresses.
