| Diagnostic approaches to the allergic patient. 
Allergic diseases represent a major health problem with great impact on quality of life. A correct diagnosis and identification of offending allergens is necessary to establish an optimal specific treatment for the patients.
The aim is to provide young physicians education and updates within the field of diagnosing IgE mediated allergic diseases; and to stimulate the social contacts between young physicians from all over Europe interested in allergic diseases in children and adults. |

Az előadás címe: Atipikus megismerés és támogató technológia: új perspektívák, emberi dilemmák

Az előadás kivonata:Az emberiség évezredek óta törekszik arra, hogy különböző technikai megoldásokkal csökkentse a fogyatékossággal, sérüléssel küzdők nehézségeit. Az előadás fókuszában az áll, miféle lehetőségeket kínálnak az atipikus megismerési folyamatokat mutató személyek támogatására napjaink infokommunikációs eszközei, s mi mindent mondhat erről a megismerés pszichológiája. Igyekszem megmutatni, hogy az atipikus megismerés nem feltétlenül jelent a klasszikus értelemben véve valamilyen fogyatékosságot, nem is feltétlenül válik el élesen a tipikus megismeréstől, s hogy a korszerű technológiai támogatás lehetőségei sokféle és sokkal nehezebb kérdést vetnek fel, mint amelyekkel egyelőre szembesültünk. Amellett érvelek az előadásban, hogy ki kellene használnunk a technológiai támogatásban rejlő lehetőségeket – közben alaposan átgondolva a felvetődő etikai, filozófiai, érzelmi és persze szaktudományos dilemmákat.

We want to get your attention to the Austrian Symposium on Dialysis Access and Central Venous Catheters which will take place for the 5th time in Vienna 5th-6th of December 2025.
It is an interdisciplinary, multiprofessional meeting where all dialysis-relevant stakeholders (nephrology, shunt surgery, dialysis care, radiology, patients, industry) meet. It is therefore an unprecedented opportunity to get to know state of the art treatment/diagnostic methods as well as innovations on this field.
After all 4 previous symposia were very well received with over 200 participants each, we have decided to continue organizing this meeting. This year, we also decided to open the symposium to more neighboring countries besides Germany, Italy and Switzerland to give more colleagues the opportunity to be part of this meeting as a multiprofessional access platform with excellent international speakers and many training programs. This is one of the very few meetings worldwide offering such masterclasses.

The proven concept of the 2-day conference will be retained: The scientific sessions with lectures by world-renowned experts will take place on the first day (05.12.2025) at the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn. On the second day of the congress (December 6, 2025), we will offer several master classes/“hands-on” workshops on various topics, which will take place either in the congress hotel or at the Anatomical Institute of the Medical University of Vienna, as these are courses on human specimens.
To be in Vienna during the Advent season will be even more special due to our venue location next to Schönbrunn allowing visits at the beautiful Christmas market before or after the meeting.
Please be aware that most of the talks on the 1st day are in German (see program), but the workshops and masterclasses are mainly independent of language - based on their training/hands-on character and our international tutors.
Slots are limited on both days and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
